Do you have the Winter Blues?

Shopping Our Stash #289 is Winter Blues....we want to see blue but not a Winter card.  Should be easy peasy and it was. Although I gravitate to Pinks and Purples, Blue is pretty cool. (pun intended) Since I needed to shop my stash I use dies and a stamp I haven't used in a least a year. Here is my Winter Blues card.......

I made an Easel card, can't remember the last time I made one, I used a Stamping Bella Uptown Girls stamp and cut it with Spellbinders 8 die and layered it on a Spellbinders Decorative labels die. The sentiment came with the girl and I used my circle and scalloped circle punches (have no idea when I used them last eiether) layered it on a fancy labels die. Notice I had to make the lollipop pink.

Close up of the image and see the sparkle on the lollipop.

I put the sentiment on at the back of the easel. I found out these type of cards are not easy to photograph.

I would like to enter this in:

Seize the Birthday (without the topping)

Thanks for visiting today and take some time and stave of those winter blues and join us for the challenge.

Barbara, I love the Stamping Bella "Up Town Girls" and this one is adorable!!! The Spellbinders die is just the perfect size to frame this cutie pie, beautifully colored and, the fact that you made an easel card is fabulous so the recipient can display and enjoy it every day.
Hugs,
Maria.

What a sweet card! Despite my preference for 1)red and 2)purple, I make a lot of predominantly blue cards... now to find time to play along! :D

So cute, Babs! Love the whole look of this! I haven't made an easel card in years... thanks for the inspiration. I started a list of things I want to try or try again... your ideas have ended up on that list before! Again, super cute card.
