Time to Colour your World!!

Hello friends I'm finally back to making cards for Shopping Our Stash challenges and what a challenge for my first one back.....a COLOUR challenge and as you know I'm terrible at colour challenges especially if there are too many choices but for this one I lucked out with on piece of 6 X 6 paper from Photoplay. The colour choices might be numerous but you only need to use at least 3 of them.

And here is my offering for the challnege.

It's been a long time since I have made a mini slimline card, I used my favourite stamp company stamps "House Mouse Designs" I chose a sketch from Sheetload of Cards January 2023 I love this design I did change it to a horizontal card as the flowers trailed too far off the side. The patterned paper is from Photoplay both sides of the double sided paper was used,   it is only 7 months old but the gold birthday sticker is ancient.

Finished the inside with some scraps of patterned paper and the perfect sentiment to match the slimline card.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will pick at lest 3 colours and join in the fun.

Pink Christmas at the Jingle Belles Rock Episode 2.

I'm back with episode 2 of the on-going marathon of Pink Christmas for the Jingle belles.  This time I made a Vertical Mini Slimline card .

I used another Bugaboo digital image, it's another favourite of mine which is brought into service every Christmas. The three images are perfect for a mini slimline (3.25 X 6.25 inches) The patterned paper is from Stampin'up and this is the last piece I could find.

Close up of the super cute center penguin block,

Finished the inside with a couple of scraps of cardstock (there was no patterned paper left) and another of a favourite Hero Arts vertical Christmas sentiment, it was probably one of the first stamps I bought when I started stamping over 20 years ago. Sorry my card is a more subdued pink than I had anticipated but wait for installment #3 later.

Thanks for checking back today and it's not over yet, stay tuned for the next instalment.

It's February Rudolph Days!!!

` I'm really on top of the challenge this month, of course I had to be as there are only 28 days in February this year. I even had my image coloured and ready, it still seemed to take me all day to get it done.

The image is the last of the three stamps in a retired set from Stampin'up called Holiday Line-up. The other two can be found HERE and HERE. I made a Mini Slimline card (3 1/4 X 6 1/4) dug out one of the many border punches I have and added Starfoam stickers in silver, I also added a silver Merry Christmas sticker. The plaid paper is very shiny and slippery.

Close up of the "line-up" of reindeer, I added a enamel dot to Rudolph's nose.

I used up a few scraps on the inside with a sentiment from Stampabilities.

Another NBUS for the Challenge at SoSS....

Edna looks pretty Quirky in her granny square scarf.

Here we are again for another great challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, #204 is Q is for Quirky. I was stumped for this one until one day {not long ago) while looking for something else I spotted a AI stamp set I was gifted by a friend and thought "YES" AI ladies are all Quirky so I went with it!!

This year I'm going to "wade" my way through my pile of "never been used stuff" and this is the second NBUS I've used in a week, although not as old as the last one, it was gifted to me and I wanted to show my appreciation by using it. It's a Clear coffee related set from Art Impressions, and being a coffee lover I love the  set. The sentiment is also part of the set. I made a Mini Slimline card and used my long spellbinders dies (they are perfect for this size card) Patterned paper is from a long retired Stampin'up pack, the scrap was just enough to use on the card.

Close up of the image, I used wink of stella on the coffee pot, some days I'm tempted to do just that with my coffee, skip the cup and go to the source.

The inside of the card is not complete as I have put my snarky sentiment stamps in that safe place, I'm going to stop putting things away as when I need them I have no clue where I've put them. I'm sure I will find them when I'm searching for something else.

It's Still Ornamental My Dear Watson.

I managed to get a second card done for the Jingle Belles Rock challenge, it's a fun set of dies from Memory Keepers

I made a mini slimline card, would like it to have been a regular slimline but I had already planned the paper and embossing folder.  The ornaments were cut out of blue metallic posterboard (dollar tree) the back was cut out of glitter paper from a $$ store The patterned paper from a paper pad I just bought at Dollarama. Merry Christmas sticker is from Starform stickers and the silver cord are stickers from Hot Off The Press called Dazzles, which I have no idea where I bought them as I'm sure they are over 10 years old.

A closer look at the glitter and the paper. when I cut the one die there were dots cut so I used them on the centers of the snowflakes.

I love this vertical sentiment stamp it fits the mini slim line cards perfectly and I added some patterned paper and a few of the stickers from the Starform package.

I am adding this to:

Jingle Belles Rock ~~ Ornamental My Dear Watson.

And

ABC Christmas Challenge ~~ X is for Xerox 3 of the same dies used.

Thanks for looking today and one more Holiday card ready for mailng.

It's a Trifecta of Pink Christmas Cards.

Here is my third card for the Jingle Belles Rock Pink Christmas Challenge, Lauren and Stephanie donate $2 each for breast cancer research for every pink Christmas card posted on thier blog. There is still time to make and post a card before October 20 at 6.00 p.m. EDT.

This one was a bit difficult to photgraph ten again its way past sunset when I'm trying. I made a Mini Slimline card (3 1/4 X 6 14 inches) The snowflake panel is just perfect for  the size. The panel was cut out of silver metallic posterboard I bought at Len's Mills, has 5 different colour sheets in the package. The background for the panel is some pink glitter paper I bought at the local $$ store. The sentimen die cuts are Tim Holtz and were cut 3 times and glued together for dimenson. Background paper is from a Recolletions Sugar Bush paper pad.

Close up but the sparkle really doesn't show in the picture I also added rhinestones to the centers of the three snowflakes.

The inside isn't finihed net as the vertical sentiment I wanted to use is still at the cottage. Since I won't be spending any time there until spring I'm having a road trip to bring the last of the craft supplies home and get ready to drain the water lines on Sunday.

I'm entering this in:

The Jingle Belles Rock ~~ I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas

ABC Christmas Challenge ~~  U & V ~~ I chose V for vocabulary

Thanks for stopping by today and if I find time there might be one more.

It's October ~~ Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice.

Challenge #456  at Shopping Our Stash is Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice. Since it's October we want to see Fall, Halloween Pumplins Jack-o-lanterns  or Pumpkin Spice coffee (yuk) Etc. Lot's of choices and I had trouble deciding what I was doing, I had way too many "irons" in the fire but picked a Halloween theme.

I decided to give another try at a Mini Slim line card, 3 1/4 X 6 1/4 inches, of course I used a house mouse image of Maxwell trying to out run the garlic. I added a few spinders for interest,,  Patterned paper is from DCWV 4 1/2 X 6 1/2 Midnight Sjpell Halloween pad I bought years ago when Winners had great deals in crafting things.

Finished the inside with a scrap of patterned paper and  a Happy Halloween (cut 2 and glued them together) attached it to the Shadow die.  As you see I couln't resist that little scrap for the right side.

I'm entering this in:

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge ~~ Anything Goes. Option Halloween.

Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge ~~ everything Halloween

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to head over to the MAIN BLOG and check out what the rest of the design team have made.

Oh My Goodness it's Time for the October Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge!!

Hello fellow "Christmas" crafters, it's great to keep working on thos Holiday cards so in November/December you are not panicing.

Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge is Anything Goes with the option of JOY

As soon as I saw the theme for Octdober I knew exactly what stamp I was going to use, I had to look through my many stamps but I hadn't remembered it was a cling mount from House Mouse Designs. I coloured the mice with copics but the candy canes were coloured with the Spica Glitter Pens. (I have replaced the red on as it's not sparkly anymore)  A long time ago when I first started die cutting I bought a set of plain small and plain scalloped long rectangle spellbinders I also bought the large set too. Well whow would know they would come in handy for a Mini Slimline Card.
The size is 3 1/4 X 6 1/4.

Close up of the happy trio.

Finished the inside with a Hero Arts Seniment and a few scraps of patterned paper.
My versafine red ink pad seems to be lacking some ink but was my only red ink pad at home.
