Case a Jingle Belle Part Two!!!

My idea was to pick one of Lauren's and one of Stephanie's cards to case but no matter how I tried to figure Stephanie's out I couldn't execute it as I had no snowflake stamps or dies with me at the cottage, not sure why but I really didn't think it through when I was home. This week I will make a list of what I need to make the cards I plan. I had picked an extra of Lauren's because I loved it, as I said crafting in two places has it's drawbacks, half of what you need is at the other place. I changed the colours of the card but kept everything else.  Here is the LINK to Lauren's card. Baby it's Gold Outside November 2017.

Lauren's card was matte gold and white mine is matte silver and white stardeam, Lauren's card was stitched and I used a faux stitch die (too lazy to get the sewing machine from the car) Since I had to work with what I had it was a shiny doily (just lucky I had one)

Finished the inside with a sentiment and a couple of scraps of paper.

It's Jingle Belle Time!!!

I love the bling prompt for the Jingle Belles Challenge and I only managed one card for the challenge. Not that I won't make lots of "bling" Christmas cards in the next few months.

Ah I'm back using the beautiful backdrop of Lake Erie, it is very windy today and I'm happy that it didn't blow away since both hands are on the camera. I used Tattered Poinsettia die, did lots of layers and used stardream red and green, you can see a bit of shimmer, because the theme is "Bling on the Holidays" I added a flourish of bling from the Eyelet Outlet and dotted a few around the embossed background.

Finished the inside with a mini poinsettia (used scraps left over from cutting the big guy) The sentiment is from Stampendous.

November Rudolph Days!!!

Things have been so crazy with making tags for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags I found myself running late with the Rudolph Days Challenge and I've entered every month since January so didn't want to miss it this year.  My son and daughter-in-law invited me to join them at the sushi restaurant today and even though I didn't have time I made it, family first is my motto, I got home in time to make a card.

Not sure if it is the camera or my lack of photography skills, even using a photo box and ottlite I can't get a good picture. The background embossing folder is Falling solftly from Stampin'up and the poinsettia is Tattered poinsettias from Tim Holtz. It make such a beautiful large cover a card poinsettia. Merry Christmas is a sticker.

You can see the beautiful red colour of the flower, I used some metalic poster board I bought at Dollar Tree, sadly they haven't had it the last 6 or more months. Happy I  bought one every time I was there so I have a bit of a stash. (the gold is the first used though)

Thanks for visiting  and stay safe if you are in the line of the bad weather.

The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019 ~~ Day 23

Yep still lagging behind but in the end they will all be done. Each day has brought awesome tags to inspire and of course dies and stamps you need, or want.  It's been fun getting ideas for tags,  I have a couple of groups of ladies and I since I never have enough cards to add 16 more to my list I'm going to give each of them a tag that I've made. I hope they like that idea. Anyway back to day 23 and scrolling down the design team tags my eyes latched on to one particular tag and it is Patty Folchert's Tag, there were a few more that I would have like to try but there is never enough time to do everything you want to.

I used  the small tattered poinsettias die and some scraps of patterned paper,

Here is Patty's Tag.
