It's a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash and it's Let's Hear it for the Boys!! Create a project featuring a man or a masculine card for one of the men or boys in your life. So far in the last couple of weeks I've made 2 masculine cards one for a son and the other for a grandson and this challenge is made for my eldest grandson who is a coffee lover, and I still have two more to get ready, one for the youngest grandson and one for my great grandson. It does feel good to know I am keeping up with the family birthdays.

Let's Hear it for the Boys!!
I have a few favourite fun folds and this triangle easel card is one of them, it looks complicated but it isn't. I used a Karen Burniston 1040 Coffee Pop-up set from 2017 the instructions are for a inside pop-up which I made last year or maybe the year before. The patterned paper is from Stampin'up and well over 5 years old and there are now just a few scraps left. The sentient on the coffee cup is from Photoplay (a gift from a friend)
Here is the 5 1/2 inch square card when it is folded flat ready for mailing.

Beep, Beep
I'm on a roll with masculine cards and Cardz 4 Guyz is a really good place to look for inspiration. I know I struggle with what to do for the men, and all most of the family are men/boys.. I have lots of stamps and dies of cars, trucks, even a monster truck (the great grandson loves it) So here is my offering for WHEELS.
Starting with the background, I did some smooshing with three shades of blue distress oxide inks. The road is from a paper pack I found at Dollarama, the "hedge" is a scrap that was a leftover from my Easter ATCs. clouds are die cut out of foam core so they look like they are floating.
I die cut two car bodies and glued them together with acetate in-between for the widows, I elevated it with pop dots but the wheels are flat attached. Happy Birthday is a rub-on from the white sentiments package that is at least 10 years old, (still lots of sentiments left too.)
close up and you can see the shiny windows.
Close up of the sentiment, I must remember to use more of these super simple rub-ons.

D is for Dog!!!
Hello friends another two weeks has flown by, last weekend I had two Sundays, I don't know about you but this quarentine is messing with my days along with the fact I never know what date it is. I am my circle of 10 or however many we can have now. I am glad I have the diversion of the cottage and my crafting or I would be in a sad state. To top it all off I finally have my design teams in the right order it has only taken since January to wrap my head around it and I'm now on track. (at least for a while) The new challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is D is for Dog!! lots of really cute/snarky doggie projects on the Main Blog. Here is what I came up with.
I haven't used this card design in eons, when the die I had planned on using was just a tad too small for the image I went with a card design I saw on pinterest, and it left me just enough room for the snarky sentiment.(still a lot of white space) The dog is a Tim Holtz set of dogs and dies from sizzix I have had for a couple of years and never had them out of the packge, (have cats too) The bones are from the die I had planned on useing so just cut a few to add interest to the card. It's a mailable card too.
I feel like I was celebrating the 4th of July using these colours, once I had coloured the ball and dish I had to use the red and blue and a few more bones. The sentiment is from Stampendous.
As I said earlier there are a lot more dog creations on the Main Blog. We are looking forward to seeing your creations for D is for Dog.
I am entering this in:
