Guess What Time it is ~~ It's Challenge Time at Clear it Out Tuesday.

Challenge #108 at Clear it Out Tuesday  is (giggle, giggle) SPRINGTIME, well as I look out my window it looks more like Santa Claus is coming to Town. The stash item is FLOWERS.  At least my card looks like springtime and it has flowers on it. My poor daffodils outside are going to be dead for sure, they were pretty close to flower, who knows where this freak storm came from but I have had enough of the winter and I'm calling, pleading and begging for Spring. Okay enough of the weather report and on to the sponsors.....Bugaboo Stamps and  Oddball Art Stamps are the two for this challenge...so it's double he chance to win. The image I used is from Bugaboo stamps.

I saw the sketch at Saturday Sketch and thought it's perfect for the image I had coloured, and I used some washi tape, I never really know how to use i but the sketch was perfect.

Close up of the super cute birdie and the flowers, I added some tiny pearls to the flowers and glitter to the wings of the bug.

The inside was finished with more washi tape using the base of the sketch.

Oh dear, I am sooooooo late with my post today for Clear it Out Tuesday, I have no idea where my brain was last night when I forgot to type up my post, 'note to self ~ do the blog when I finish the card"

Clear it Out Tuesday has an easy challenge for you this fortnight Theme  Anything goes and the Stash item is Anything goes so you can Clear Out some serious stash. Two sponsors for this challenge DeeDee`s digis and Dr. Digi.

My adorable image is from DeeDee`s Digis, as you know I love cats but only have one she is 18 and has been an only `child` too long to introduce a rival. Now I am not fond of greens but this little feline wanted to be layered on it. Now the two (all I could find) metal dots are my stash item. The little tree is coloured with a spica glitter pen and covered with crystal effects.

Close up of the ornament

Finished the inside with a scrap of patterned paper with my paw print border punch.

It's Holiday Time at Clear it Out Tuesday ~~ Halloween? or Christmas? Your Choice

Challenge #97 at Clear it Out Tuesday is HOLIDAY!!! You get to choose between Halloween or Christmas for the theme and the stash item is Die Cuts. The sponsor for this two week challenge is SLS Lines and I chose to do Christmas.  Don't forget to check the main blog for the rules of the challenge and see which holiday the design team members have made.

Here is the sweet scene I have made with my digital image from the sponsor. The image was colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut out. I took scraps of white and tore the edges, the first one attached on top of the patterned paper, then I placed the image and put two more torn scraps on top. My die cuts were the clouds and the trees.

Stickles was added to the ornaments and the pompoms on the hats as well as the torn edges of the "snow"

Here is the inside of the card, now looking at this I think I will add some torn "snow" to the base of the trees.

Thanks for stopping by today and please join us for the Holiday challenge, you have until November 9th at 8 p.m. to enter.

It's New Challenge time at Clear it Out Tuesday!!!

It's been a fun long weekend in Canada, it's our Thanksgiving and it's so hard to get going with my card and blog. Some of our family came to visit us at the cottage on Monday and we had a BBQ.

The challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday is a Colour Challenge ~~ White and one other colour, if you are using an image it can be coloured, we don't need any white faces lol.  I really struggled with this challenge although I often make white and one other colour this one was a little daunting. I chose a Halloween digi from Bugaboo designs and after I coloured it I decided to make a shaker card.

I used some rust coloured sequins for the shaker part of the card, the background is embossed with a pumpkin folder.

Another angle of the front of the card, the inside is not finished as I will find a nice Halloween sentiment on the internet.

Thanks for visiting today and if you celebrated a holiday this past weekend I hope it was a fabulous day.

Even though it is still September I'm working on my Christmas stash of cards so I chose this awesome cardinal on a pine bough. The glitter is on the pine cones and branch.

The finished inside using the topnote and some scraps of patterned paper and red too.  The sentiment is from Stampin'up.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will gather up your things with wings and join the fun.

The Theme is Autumn and the Stash is Leaves/foliage at Clear it Out Tuesday.

Clear it Out Tuesday's challenge is Autumn and this past weekend it sure has fall in the air, we went from hot to cold in a few hours, we put the heaters on at the cottage and the cat slept IN the bed with us. It's looking like it will get warmer the rest of the week. The sponsor for our Autumn challenge is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  Since the theme is Autumn the stash is leaves/foliage.  I sure wasn't thinking on Friday when I left the house, I had a sentiment picked out but couldn't find it when I got to the cottage. I also didn't think about the leaves part either, although I do have some leaf stamps and dies I didn't have them with me, I couldn't find much in small foliage so I bought some Autumn paper napkins and glued the leaves and acorns to some white cardstock scraps and fussy cut them. I really have to be good at improvising these days. On with my card.

Sorry for the terrible picture, it was rather difficult to photograph this while it is closed, It is a Stair Step fold. I saw a Halloween one on High Hopes Blog and just had to try it. Next one I make I will either cut the base 10.5 or the full 11 inches as it doesn't stand up as straight as I would like it as you will see in the next picture.

The patterned paper is from a fall bo bunny pad, The butterfly dome is from a package I have had for 2 years and never opened it. The three brown dots on the left I made with perler beads, they are smaller than the pony beads.

check out that super cute butterfly "button"
