Tic Tac Toe Jingle Belles Style!!

Hello and welcome to my blog, lately I haven't been posting as regular as I should but I really liked the prompt at the Jingle Belles Challenge even with almost 2 weeks and having things picked out and image coloured I could not find any time until today to complete it. I chose the bottom three on the board, Diecut or Punch, Santa and Stamping.

I used one of my favourite "sheetload" from November 2024 from Crafty Al. My stamp is a mini clear stamp from Stampendous  that I fussy cut and added it to a scrap sky looking paper and a postage stamp circle die cut.

I finished the inside with a couple of scraps and a super cute sentiment from Stampendous.

It's almost Back to School time!!

Hello and welcome to a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash as you can tell the theme is Back to School, create a project featuring anything pertaining to school like books, blackboards, crayons, desk or anything else you see as belonging to school. I of course found a House Mouse designs stamp in my pile which I had brought with me to make a cover for my date book so that was a good thing although I still have not make a cover for my datebook I made a Triple Easel display card. Going back and forth to the cottage has drawbacks, sometimes you don't quite think a challenge through and have to improvise......a lot.

The fun fold was one of Stamp with Delight's Wednesday Mystery Stamping videos, (Deb has a list of all the pieces to cut then has a video to follow and make the card) You can find her on Facebook.
The fold takes 1 piece of cardstock and 1 odd piece of patterned paper that was in my stash (only a couple of scraps left) Deb's instructions were for two different patterned paper I had nothing that
co-ordinated with the stripes. (that's where planning is involved)

As you see the card folds flat and fits in an A2 envelope. The red panel is supposed to be dry embossed but the dots are slightly elevated so I called it perfect, again it was a scrap I had with me.

The inside is decorated with scraps and ready for a sentiment.

I'm adding this to:

Thanks for stopping by today for another episode of what did I forget to bring to the cottage this time and I'm sure it will continue. If you didn't arrive from the SOS blog head over and check out what the rest of the team have made.

A is for Animals

Hello and welcome to a new challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky stampers, Oh my word this blog post will be the death of me, my laptop is at the cottage (where I should be) and I am at home trying to work on a desktop that was bought with XP on it, windows 11 has tried to update it but I'm sure its a lost cause compounded tonight with my left hand keeps hitting the wrong keys. I also don't have Edna to show you the challenge prompt, I had enough trouble getting the photos on this dinosaur. So here we go with my very simple mini slimline card I will use as a money holder.

When I realized I had misread the challenge I was at the cottage an it was the only animal image I had there was the moose, I printed it a year or two ago and I cannot remember the creator, The sentiment is from High Hopes a Canadian company (no longer in business) Patterned paper is from the Memory box.

Finished the inside with a scrap of patterned paper and a Hero Arts sentiment.

Thanks for bearing with me and get your thinking caps on and show us your Animal projects.
