Here we are at The Cheerful Stamp Pad and a new sponsor which is Stitchy Bear Outlet. This week it is from the Scrapper’s Delight section of the outlet. The theme of the challenge is Fruits and Veggies and we were given awesome images to use. Mine is called William Pear and is from Scrapper’s Delight and can be found HERE
I followed a sketch from Stella says Sketch at Catch the bug, it was perfect. I coloured with my spectrum noir and copics.
I cut the feather outside the oval and put some stardust stickles on it.
I have no idea if this will be a birthday or just a Hello card so no sentiments on it. I use one of the scraps from the patterned paper on the inside too.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:
Catch the bug challenge blog Stella Says Sketch #211

May 1st is May Day I’m not sure if any schools do the May pole dance it was quite the co-ordination to get the over and under to make the pattern on the pole. The picture is just to inspire you for the challenge. You can go many ways with it, ribbons, something twisted, tall and skinny, rainbow colours you have lots of options. As you can see I went with the ribbon theme and I used the 7 Chakra colours on the coils of the book, I love purple and had some scraps from other projects so did my new favourite thing and made a sunburst. I used a Bugaboo image it doesn’t pertain to May Day but it shows me it’s my crafting book. You can find Bugaboo images HERE
.
.
I love the sentiment it came along with the image I used, hope it keeps me on track.

Love is in the Air at the Cheerful Stamp Pad
Valentine’s day is only 11 days away, do you have your card made for your “sweetie”. Here is your chance to enter a card in the Love/Valentine challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad. The sponsor is Stitchy Bear Outlet- BBKakes. There are a lot of designers to check out at Stitchy Bear Outlet, BBKakes is just one of them. My digital image is from them and is so cute.
I coloured my image with my spectrum noir and copics (for the skin) I decided since I was using my spellbinder hear dies I needed to make a 5 inch square card. The large white heart is flat attached , the next set of hearts is popped up and I fussy cut Balloon Boy and popped him up on top. Hi There was cut with a cuttlebug die that has several sayings on it…..it’s ancient and rarely used. SAD. Buttons from the dollar store. Now isn’t he just adorable!!!

Finished the inside of the card with a Michael’s $1.50 bin stamp. I can’t believe I have so few Valentine sentiments. This card will be given to my great-grandson for Valentines Day. Hard to believe he will be 5 next month, wow.

Welcome to the Last Challenge of 2013 at The Cheerful Stamp Pad
Only two more days of shopping, I hope you are ready!! I have one item I couldn’t find so will be out today finding it or a replacement and some groceries too. I always make “nuts and bolts” at Christmas and I love putting the Oriental mix in it, nice crunch and a little sip too along with the garlic sesame sticks…yum.
This is the first week of the Any Thing Goes challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad I hope you will find some time to enter the challenge. The sponsor for the challenge is Bugaboo Digis it’s a Canadian company and they have free digis every Friday. Now for my card I used a Freebie Friday image I got a couple of weeks ago, I had printed it and it was in my “scrap box” waiting to be coloured. The sketch I used is from Catch the Bug Challenge Blog it’s the last sketch of 2013, Stella says Sketch #148, there is lots of time to check it out.

I followed the sketch pretty close, I fussy cut (my crafting buddies know how I am not fond of cutting) and I used the left over white cardstock to make the snow hills. I added crystal effects to the mask and white opal liquid pearls on the hat. I added the strip of bling to it just because it was sitting in front of me.
Challenges I am entering this in are:

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way…….
Hi everyone, another blog post, wow this month has been filledl with lots of cards and lots of challenges, some I’m ahead of the due date some I’m skidding in at the last minute. Yesterday’s post was just that as well as one of the challenges. I now have a few extra cards to use if I need them. I get e-mails from a lot of the challenge blogs, well got this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches Dec. 11 planning on using it well today I get a reminder there is still time to play, I had an image already coloured to use, Most of the card was made with scraps left over from other card making sessions. The image I used was a Fluffles one, I have a few of them since I am very fond of cats, simple to colour as I just left them white, pinked the noses and ears.
I used my snowflake embossing folder on the green banners Put crystal glitter paper paint (psx) on the bells added a glitter brad to my felt poinsettia and punched snowflakes to the opposite corner.
Challenges I am entering this in are:
Freshly Made Sketches ends Monday
Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog use traditional colours Red and Green.
Catch the Bug Challenge Blog Your favourite Christmas Song I guess mine is obvious….Jingle Bells.
Shopping Our Stash Tic Tac Toe The line I used is Brads, flowers, and die cuts or punches.
Thanks for looking today, and come back again soon, I seem to be on a roll with the winter/Christmas cards, I think I am about done.
Have a crafty day!!!

It’s beginning to look a lot like winter………
Hello friends and family, today we had our furnace replaced and they will be putting the A/C in tomorrow, not like we need it right now. We were blessed with a bit of snow today and driving was a little greasy but fine if you didn’t act like it was the Indy 500. I finally finished my swap cards and they are on their way to homes in Canada and the U.S. On one of my fav. blogs I saw this sketch and decided I needed to use it, hop on over to Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge and have a look. Here is my take on the sketch.
Thanks for looking today and come back again soon.
I believe the set is Holiday Line-up, retired from Stampin’'up. I used background paper I bought 5 years ago at Wal-mart. The cardstock is Ballet Blue also retired from SU. I sparkled up their pompoms and anything else I could. The embossing folder is a cuttlebug one, the first one I ever bought. Talk about using up stash. The snowflakes were punched with a small EK punch, one that I manage to pinch my finger in at least once. the sentiment is also one of the first stamps I bought when I started stamping eons ago.
I am entering this in a couple of challenges:
