U is for Upcycle at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

It's Saturday and time for a new challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, U is for Upcycle, April 22, 2020 is Earth day so in it's honour we present an upcycle challenge. It's nice to reuse, repurpose, an upcycle an item. For my card I used a Christmas card I had received maybe last year or the year, I save all my cards for verses, ideas and of course the usual challenges that ask you to upcycle.

This was the back of the card, I just thought the plaid was too great to throw away, the banner is covering up the company name. I used a snarky Dolly Mama Christmas stamp.

Close up of the image and sign,

I am entering this in:

Jingle Belles Rock ~~ Peace on Earth Day

Finally the ordeal of doing my blog post is over, I'm not sure if it is me, Windows 10, Blogger or the Photo program but it has taken way too long to do this.  The last update of Windows `10 has messed more things up than it has fixed, (can you tell I detest Windows 10)
Rant is over.

Thanks for visiting me today and head over to the Main Blog check out the rest of the upcycle projects that the design team had made (they are much more creative with their upcycle product)

It's Tuesday and Time for a NEW Challenge at Shopping Our Stash!!!

At Shopping Our Stash this week we want you to upcycle!!! It's up to your interpretation, but please tell us what the item is because we might not be able to see it immediately.  I was struggling with this one, I usually use something hubby found on the beach with his metal detector but this time I wanted something different. First here is my card.

the leaves an flowers are from a Botanicals die set from Stampin'up, the background is and embossing folder that name eludes me at the moment. Rhinestones from my stash

I purchased a new purse, it's a LUG and this was the tag that was on it, when I saw it sitting on my desk I thought "aha" it's my upcycle. I did shorten it to fit and rounded the corners added some ancient gold ribbon.

The quote was my inspiration for the colourful flowers.

I carried the floral theme to the inside.

Thanks for spending time today and we would love to see your upcycle projects. Head over to the Main Blog and check out the rest of the design team's projects.
