Naughty or NIce?

 Hello readers I hope all is well in your part of the country, I hope you are staying in and crafting and staying safe.  Since I missed the last SoSS challenge (life got in the way of crafting)  all my craft supplies are home from the cottage but not in there proper places so it really takes me three times as long to make a a card as it usually would. For the next two weeks the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge is 

N is for Naughty

Here is what I made for the challenge.

I used a digi image from Dr. Digi to make my scene, The sentiment was die cut out of a sample shiny red cardstock sample,  I then added an Eyelet Outlet wreath brad, wood floor was a scrap of crumb cake cardstock stamped with Versa fine sepia ink with Stampin'up woodgrain stamp.

Here is the naughty list, that is Linsey's name at the bottom they Y is missing. 

I used an appropriate Stampendous cling mount stamp for the inside

New Challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers ~~ T is for Technique!!!

At the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge 101 is T is for Technique!!! What technique have you not tried for a while? or maybe a new technique you haven't tried. Well we want to see them!!  There are a lot to choose from and I found the one I wanted to do on Stamp TV with Gina K.

My card was printed off from a page I found on Pinterest and saved, this of course was last year when I was looking for clocks for steampunk.  I printed it three times one for the base one for the clock face and one for the case which I embossed in gold,  I distressed all three layers of this project. The Happy Birthday die is "new" I've have it for a few months but it hadn't seen the die cut machine yet. I'm very happy how it works on a card. 

As you see my technique is Cracked Glass and it works perfect for this image and I'm pleased with the cracking on it.  

Finished inside with a Stampworks Sentiment, this will be for my son's birthday in March, hope it hasn't made it to that "safe place"

It's Time for Our Annual N is for Naughty Christmas Challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

Wow Challenge #100!!! and it's Naughty Christmas time again at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

One of the best places for snark is Bugaboo Stamps and this is where I went to find my naughty image Crabby Cathy Christmas/Santa Jolly.  The sketch I used "loosely" is from Freshly Made Sketches.

Yahoo it's Saturday and time for a NEW Challenge at the Sisterhood!!!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers has another fantastic challenge for this fortnight!! V is for Vegan but we want to see animals on your card!!! totally opposite to what I thought it might be (silly me)  Since I had the idea way back when, printed the image from Bugaboo Stamps then tucked it away in my "DT" book  so I wouldn't lose it as that seems to be my way of operating these days.  Anyway I thought it was perfect for the time of year and the challenge as well as a tad snarky.

One more Christmas card for my stash!! I decided to emboss the background patterned paper with a pawprint embossing folder, I'm pleased with how it looks. The image and sentiment are a set from Bugaboo Stamps

Inside finished with a Kraftin' Kimmie sentiment set sorry for the fuzzy picture but you can read it

It was a Dark and Spooky Night................

Be afraid, very afraid............it's another spooky Halloween card. I seem to be on a roll with Halloween.

As with another card I had a few scraps, the houses were also slated for a Christmas card but Hubby said it looked too "halloween" so into the scrap box, the background was also a scrap of ominous sky so it became a spooky card, the bats are an old....really old Halloween set from Hero Arts, it is a boxed set of 6 stamps and I've had them for at least 15 years. the houses are an unbranded die. 

Again a computer generated sentiment.

Naughty or Nice Witch?

I have been working on Halloween cards, not sure why because I only need 2 for my great grandsons but they are so much fun.  This one is a really cutesy card with an adorable Witch from Lacy sunshine,  I love Heather's images they are adorable.

I coloured and fussy cut the cute witch then built my card with some items in my scrap box, the light post was slated for a Christmas card, but didn't work, the grass is from an Easter project (I cut a few too many) The section of spiderweb was left over from another Halloween card, even the background was a scrap. 

Sentiment is compurter generated from a free verse site.

Halloween Take "2"

Happy Thanksgiving for my Canadian friends and Happy Columbus Day to my U.S. friends and everyone else visiting today have a wonderful day!!!

You know the "old" saying a day late and a dollar short,  well not so much the dollar short but I am a day late for the sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  It was a great sketch but I used it anyway!!! I needed a "naughty" card for Naughty or Nice challenge blog so while checking out some digis on the computer I came across this adorable image from Slinky Tart.  

I think it's a  cute naughty image,  I used some glossy accents on his goggles

I am going to finish the inside when I get home from the cottage as I want to print a sentiment off a verse site on the computer.

Happy Halloween a little early.....

When I started this card there was an awesome sketch which unfortunately when I looked the challenge had ended but it's a great sketch and works well with the washi tape I wanted to use. I have a few..hmmm maybe quite a collection of house mouse stamps and I have some super cute halloween images so here is my favourite.....it's Monica Mouse.

This is about as CAS as I can get, it's only one layer and a base for me that's CAS and there is a lot of  "white" space but since the sketch was from Sketch Saturday which had ended.  I kept it pretty close to the sketch.

The sentiment is computer generated from free sentiment site. I added the bat washi tape to it for interest and just because I wanted to. lol.

Since this is the time for lots of "orange" or halloween challenges I am entering these ones.

It's Tuesday!!! Time for a New Challenge at Shopping Our Stash!!! "You Are Matchless"

Challenge #261 at Shopping Our Stash is You Are Matchless ~~ Create your own Matchbook or Matchbox any size any shape. I have made them before to fit some small chocolates, the were very simple so I wanted to do something with a little more work, since while I was trying to make them I wasn't feeling up to par, I seemed to be a tad dizzy so everything had to be right in front of me on the table, bending over the cuttlebug wasn't an option. I googled some tutorials and I used One Crafty Writer's tutorial but I used measurements from another I looked up, my base was 3 X 8.5, I might just give the smaller size a try though. I made two the same and here they are.

The patterned cardstock I bought at Walmart before I retired 15 years ago, probably before I really got into cardmaking a lot but it was on sale and I loved it, I have use this pattern a lot and it was a scrap left from a birthday card. The flower and leaves were cut from scraps with Stampin'up's Botanical Builder dies. I added 15 scraps of computer paper for the notepad, I might try 20 next time.
