Flower Power Take #2

Since I couldn't decide which "Flower Power" flower stamp I wanted to use I just had to jump in on the second week of  challenge #266 at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge. As you know it's always Anything goes but you can use the option which is Flower Power.

The stamp I used is Flower Bed with Muzzy and being Canadian I decided I wanted to colour this super cute tulip to look like the tulips that were grown last year for the 150th anniversary of Canada.
I used Elizabeth Craft Designs stitched oval die and the spellbinders decorative oval frame and some red pearls I found while digging through the gem drawer. (amazing what I find there)

Close up of the image.

Finished inside using a Stampworks sentiment.

Have you entered your project yet? There are prizes to be won!! You have until Saturday May 26, 2018 at midnight.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a creative week.

It's Monday and Time for a NEW Challenge at HMFMC!!!

I am so excited, I won another stint as a Guest Designer at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge!!! I'm such a fan of House Mouse and friends stamps and this is my all time favourite challenge.  The challenge is always Anything Goes but you can use the optional theme and challenge 263's option is Multiple Images. I did ask the question that you are all thinking of and yes it can be one stamp with multiple images on it or you can merge two or more images to one card. Clear as mud right? Well just head over to the HMFMC blog and they will clarify it for you and see what the design team has done.

I have wanted to make this designed card ever since I got the camera image and the camera was already coloured in my box of images so it was just figuring how to make the film strip. Years ago I bought the punch which I have no idea what it is called but knew I could make a faux film strip with it. I picked three of my small single mousey stamps and place them on the strip. The card is 5 1/2 inches square and the patterned paper is from a paper pad I found at our local Dollarama and I was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it.

The image was fussy cut and popped up on dots.

Not quite finished inside, since I wasn't sure who this was for I decided to leave off the sentiment on the front and the verse on the inside.

Thanks for looking today and I have more weeks to join HMFM as a Guest Designer.

Another Reminder of the Anything Christmas Goes at HMFMC

I couldn't resist making another card for a reminder that the Anything Christmas Goes at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge is still open for entries until January 8th 2018. The design team is having a well deserved rest and enjoying the holidays, but of course I needed a couple more cards and almost everyone loves a House Mouse.

I love Red and Kraft together and that patterned paper was just perfect to add to a base of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I am sure by the time you read this the recipient has opened it.

Just a simple sentiment on the inside, I looked for 1/2 hour for the stamp, it's a wood mount so can't get lost well after the half hour I sat down in front of my desk and what do I see.....the darned elusive stamp. I did grumble a bit about a wasted half hour though.

Lot's of time to get your entry in to House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge there are not one, not two but four prizes to be won.

Thanks for stopping by today and have an AWESOME Holiday!!!

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge Reminder .... You still have time to enter!

Welcome to my blog on this fine Monday, there is still time to play along with HMFMC for the Anything Christmas Goes Challenge which ends on January 8, 2018.  The stamp I used for this week is a new one for me I just bought it at the Butterfly Moon open house and it`s so stinkin` cute.

After colouring I added paper glaze to the berries and some enamel dots at the corners.

Close up so you can see the shiny berries.

Finished inside with a Stampendous sentiment no matter how I measure or how careful I am I still get this sentiment stamped crooked.

Thanks for stopping by today if you have time please join HMFMC for the Anything Christmas Goes.

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge ~~ It's the Last Challenge of 2017

Hello followers, friends and family,  this is my last challenge as Guest Designer at House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge. The theme is Anything Christmas Goes and it runs from December 11, 2017 to January 8, 2018.  I had a very hard time deciding which of my Christmas house mouse stamps I would use, I decided one of my older favourite "Santa" mouse stamps.

I kept it pretty plain as I wanted the image to shine, just an embossed background and postage stamp die cut.

Close up of Santa Mouse.

Finished the inside with a postage stamp die cut and a super cute sentiment

I has really enjoyed my time as Guest Designer at HMFMC and I have made a card for the reminder post, just because it was so much fun.

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you can find some time to join HMFMC for Anything Christmas Goes!!!

I'm a Guest Design Team member at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge!!!

I was very excited and honoured to be invited to be a Guest Designer at one of my favourite challenge blogs. I have been a House Mouse lover for many years and have an over-abundance of stamps. My first House Mouse stamp was bought at a yard sale when I didn't even know what stamping was all about but I was hooked with stamping and house mouse design stamps.  Now what is the challenge?

Challenge #254 at House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge is as always Anything Goes with an option of "Frosty" which means lots of glitter and bling!! So without any more chit chat here mine is.

My card is featuring Booda and is a "Gruffie" called Beary Fast Sled.  So for my "snowy" bits I used heat and stick powder and Diamond sugar dust (craft decor) on the snow, Star dust stickles on his hat and silver glitter paper for the frame. The  background was made with Broken china distress oxide ink, I need more practice with the splashing of water on it.

Close up and I hope you can see the glitter on his toque.

I fussy cut the image and popped everything up.

Finished the inside with the off-cut from the background and an ancient sentiment from Stampabilities.

There you have my first guest design team card!! so I hope you will join us at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge for Anything goes with the option of "Frosty"
