It's Your Favourite Challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday~~Anything Goes!!!

The new challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday  is Anything goes with the stash item of Patterned paper that is at least 1 year old, (mine is over 10 yo). The sponsor for the challenge is Sami Stamps there are some super cute digis there, new ones for Easter too, don't forget to check them out.

I chose this super sweet image of a mom and baby, it's adorable. The image was cut with Elizabeth craft Designs Stitched Rectangles.  The patterned paper is very old, over 10 years old, not many sheets left of it though. The patterned paper was attached to the pink layer with "real stitching". I added a die cut sentiment from Impression Obsession (it comes with the word Boy too) a trio of gems and a bit of ribbon finished the front.

The inside is finished with "Baby Love" sentiment from Stampendous.

I would like to enter this in:

Sami Stamps  Real or Faux stitching (I used real and faux)

Thanks for visiting today, please join us for the Anything goes with patterned paper older than one year.

Shopping Our Stash #215 ~~ Layer it On Me!!

Looking for my Clear it Out Tuesday post? scroll down or click HERE.

Are you in the midst of a heat-wave? Is the humidity unbearable? Well it sure is here in SWO (south western Ontario), I am even thinking of taking a dip in the lake today.  Of course with the weather the challenge at Shopping Our Stash seems out of place, we sure want to "take it off" but the challenge is Layer it on Me!!! use lots of layers,  Head over to the main blog check out the rules for entering and see what the rest of the design team have for your inspiration.

As you see the shadows were long when I took the picture, the best time is between 1 and 3 but I'm not always ready. I have recently discovered Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog  and since I seem to craft on Sunday it works well for me. The image I used is from Sami Stamps the patterned papers are from Walmart. I made the candy dots last week and having fun using them.

Close up of the image and the dots.

Inside of the card, the sentiment is from an acrylic set I bought at the dollar store for $2.

Challenges I would like to enter this in:
Sami Stamps challenge blog~~use two different papers must use Sami stamps image.

Thanks for stopping by today and you have until Monday to enter your "Layer it on Me" project to Shopping Our Stash Challenge Blog.

Do you like a Colour Challenge? Well if you do Clear it Out Tuesday's challenge is for you!!!

Wow the second week of August already, where does the time go? I hope you are having an awesome summer. This week at Clear it Out Tuesday it's a colour challenge and the colour is Brown/Kraft and the stash item is the same. The sponsor for the challenge is Sami Stamps there are some super cute images in the store.

I didn't have any kraft cardstock so I used Early Expresso and a light coral (name eludes me) I used an Impression Obsession die to cut the frame, it includes the oval as well and you will see the rest of the cut on the inside. I fussy cut the flower and butterfly and popped the butterfly up.

Early Expresso seam binding bow which is my stash item.

I used a very thin piece of cardstock for the antenna

Your Favourite Challenge ~~~ is Anything Goes!!!

Clear it Out Tuesday is having your favourite challenge (mine too) anything goes with the same stash….anything goes. The Sponsor for this challenge is Sami Stamps they have some super cute images. I decided since it was Anything goes I would work on some “winter” cards and here is what I did.
IMG_2863
Isn’t this the cutest snowman ever, I Love Love Love to make snowman cards. I coloured with spectrum noir and copics added white opal liquid pearl to the hat. My stash items are the plastic snowflakes (I’m running out) the blue brad (years old) and the glitter snowflake brad on the ribbon.

Just a closer look at the face and snowflake.

Finished inside of my card using the top note and a scrap of patterned paper. The sentiment is from High Hopes and works perfect for my winter card.
Thanks for stopping by today and you know you don’t want to miss entering in the ATG challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday.

It’s Tuesday!!! Time for a New Challenge at CIOT!!!

I know you have a favourite theme and stash item and this week it is ANYTHING GOES at Clear it Out Tuesday. The stash item is also anything goes.  We have a new sponsor too, Sami Stamps Shop. Check them out, they have some great digis. I picked a digi of flowers for my DT card and since we are having a lot of dull weather here in SWO I coloured it in a very bright yellow. Looking at the sea of white snow out the window we sure need some colour. A couple of feet Sunday night and I heard more is supposed to be coming.

I sized the image quite large, I was worried it wouldn’t fit on an A2 base but it managed quite well. I embossed the background with a butterfly folder and added some rickrack from my stash.

The sizzix top note was used again for the inside sentiment and I added the rickrack to it.
Thanks for spending some time here today and since this is your favourite challenge theme get your project done and enter it to the main blog, don’t forget to check out the rules and see the awesome cards the design team has for your inspiration.
