Shopping Our Stash #307 ~~ Happy Mail

The new challenge at Shopping Our Stash is related to anything to do with mail, letters, typewriters, pens what ever you can think of that has to do with mail. I really had to wrap my head around this one,  I must say I was confused over it but it is really easy.  I brought a house house stamp with me that had to do with writing and a couple of 6 X 6 patterned paper packs, Be for I started I check out the paper to see what colours I would be using.....can you imagine my surprise when two out of the three packs were Christmas, okay we went with that as I always try to enter the Jingle Belles Rock challenge at least once a challenge.  Here is my finished card.

I sure was happy with the patterned paper pack it had a few mail related in it, of course the Jingle belles challenge is layers lots of layers I knew I saw a sketch that I could use, gotta love it when you get a `three-fer`and they all mesh together. My image is from House Mouse Designs and is called Taking Notes featuring Monica, the sketch is from The Challenge 86 (sketch)

As you see Monica is writing a letter to Santa

Finished inside using the same patterned paper that is on the front. I was amazed I remembered to bring a Christmas sentiment with me. kudos to me!!!

I would like to enter this in:

Challenge #272 at Shopping Our Stash is ~~ Duck, Duck, Goose (use birds and/or feathers on your project. Well I knew it would happen one day but had my fingers crossed it didn't....the weather was so damp and rainy we didn't go to the cottage for the weekend and even though I have oodles of stuff at home there were so many things I really needed so we took a drive Sunday afternoon to pack up most of my craft things as the Canadian Thanksgiving is October 10th and we are spending it at our daughter's house so no cottage again. Soon it will be time to winterize it and say "see you in the spring"
Now on with the challenge.  After a lot of searching and thinking I chose a Winter Bugaboo image.

I love this little trio of birds and have had it a couple of years the embossed cardstock was in my ufo box the newest item is the adhesive roll of burlap trim, it worked perfect for this sketch #80 from
The Challenge @ Always playing with Paper

Close up of the sentiment that I stamped directly on the patterned paper.

Finished inside, I can't figure out who's sentiment this is.
