The Owls Challenge continues at The Cheerful Stamp Pad

Challenge #110 Owls goes into it’s second week at The cheerful Stamp Pad the sponsor is Sweet Pea Stamps. I chose a digital image by Norma J Burnell I’m loving her images they are fabulous.  Here is mine for the challenge.

The image was coloured with costal cabana blendablilities from Stampin’up, copic markers and spica glitter pens. The cardstock is Kraft by recollections, Bermuda bay (SU) and printworks patterned paper which I thought matched the flourishes on her dress.

The image is named Olivia and Peter

As I am not sure what I will use this card for I didn’t finish the inside although you can see how pretty the patterned paper is.

I would like to enter this in:
Sweet Pea May challenge things with wings

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you can find some time to join the Owls challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad. Check out the great projects the rest of the design team have done.

Challenge #109 Zentangles Continues at The Cheerful Stamp Pad.

As with the first week of the challenge I was mesmerized by the elephant and had so much fun creating the card, this week I couldn’t decide which other image I wanted to use……..so I did two. The Cheerful Stamp Pad would like to to join us for this awesome Zentangle challenge. The sponsor is Sweet Pea Stamps if you haven’t checked out their great stamps and digis from many fabulous designers. Both my images were from Norma J. Burnell digis.,

As you see I did a Halloween card (you can never be too early for them) the image is named Treat Hummer. coloured with my Spectrum Noir pastel alcohol markers. Some patterned paper from a Halloween stack pad and a scrap that was on my table. Orange and white bakers twine (a scrap fest purchase) to finish it off.

Second card (too bad both cards couldn’t be blogged first) is also from Norma J Burnell and is named Cat’s Cradle. coloured with the SN pastel alcohol markers. I added the flourish to accent the flourishes in the background paper.

Couldn’t leave without a close up of the beautiful image.
Thanks for spending some time here today and I hope you like my Zentangles. It would be lovely to see your idea of the Zentangle challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad.
