Love is in the Air with Totally Tilda

I made a card for the Totally Tilda challenge a couple of weeks ago and missed the deadline, (done that one more than once) so thought I would give it another try and it’s getting close to the end of the challenge but I made it this time. I hadn’t gotten my Tildas out for a long time so now I have a reason to give them some LOVE.

It’s A Birthday Theme at Clear it Out Tuesday……..

Check out the Challenge at Clear it Out you will find it HERE. The theme is Birthday but there is a twist……you must put more than one ribbon on your project. Digi Darla is the sponsor for the challenge which will last two weeks, so get busy,  My image is from Digi Darla isn’t it adorable. You need to go there and have a look at all the cute designs.

I needed a card for a 4 year old that loves trucks, I hope he likes tractors too. I coloured with my prisma colour pencils and OMS in the green and yellow of a John Deere tractor, used liquid pearls for the smoke and paper glaze for the windows. I used two strips of green check ribbon to put the buttons on and I was thinking it didn’t look like I had more than one ribbon so I added the “deer” ribbon tag. Cool isn’t it.
Now if you like the sketch just pop over to the deconstructed sketch site, Jen has awesome sketches. I am entering  this card in the sketch challenge #89, When you find a sketch you love you are half way to creating.
Things I used to make my card…..
Digital image….Digi Darla
Card stock…..Garden Green Daffodil delight & GP White
Ribbon ……..Both ribbons I used are 3 years old.
Buttons…………..Who knows how old, had them a long time

Since I only have grandsons I don’t have anything that resembles a princess or pageant, no crown, no lady in a fancy dress I really had to put on my thinking cap. Mid-Challenge time at Clear it Out Tuesday…….

I had an extra Bugaboo digital image to play with and wanted to use it for the challenge. Bugaboo is our sponsor this week so get out your Red & White and create. The image can be coloured but the rest of the project should be red & white. It doesn’t need to be a Valentine card but it is getting close to that special day. Check out all the details at the CIOT Blog, just click HERE.

It’s about time to ink a Tilda……..

One of the blogs I have subscribed to, there are a few, I saw a challenge for Tilda and mine have not seen ink in a long time, in fact the one I used had never seen ink, well it is two stamps the sitting Tilda is from Magnolia stamps but the bench she is sitting on is from Sugar Plum. Totally Tilda challenge Blog has a challenge every two weeks but I sort of missed the date for  the inspiration challenge to use lots of browns and bright pinks. Please have a look at what I have created.
