Hello and welcome to a new installment of Shopping Our Stash!! The theme is "Quit Bugging Me", so we want to see bugs on your card, (I don't want to see bugs anywhere else) My stamps set isn't vintage but I have had it for a while and has never been out of the package. It is a clear set and you need to "season" it before use.
I used Bees for my bug of choice, they are good little fellas going from flower to flower and them making honey. I made a slimline card (I didn't want to eliminate any bee) and I diecut them with the co-ordinating dies (something I've rarely done as I rarely get them perfect) Added a few flowers layered it on a smooshed distress oxide background. Vertical Happy Birthday seemed perfect too.
As you cn see I popped the bees up on some foam dots. the flowers and HB are attached flat.
Finihed the inside with a ;ayer of green under the sentiment layer, So far I've used this sentiment twice and even with the stamp positioner I have it crooked.

Thanks for stopping by today and head over to the MAIN BLOG and check out what's bugging the rest of the design team.

oh wow could this even BEE more beeeeeeeautiful?! i love the bees of course (i'm weirdly relieved to hear that someone else struggles with diecutting tiny shapes evenly!) and the cool slimline die, but that oxide background miiiiiight be my favorite part! ♥♥♥
I feel ya! My small die cuts usually end up in pieces! Love your card. This is quite pretty and your blue background is the true statement element!
Hugz!
The bees are so cute and look so happy in your card! A great slimline birthday card! Thank you so much for playing along at Seize the Birthday!
This is a fabulous Slimline card Barb! Love the vertical greeting and the balance of flowers and bees looks wonderful with the blue background! Thanks for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday!
So many great details on this bee-utiful card! Great idea to pop up the bees and leave the other die cut elements flat. Super slimline design.
Love your bee-u-tiful creation Barb!
Love all the wee bees, they really are my favourite of all "bugs"
