Good Saturday morning!! It's time for a new challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers X is for fauX. Interpret as you will, So many Faux techniques out there or you could go literal as some of the team have. Take a look at Edna in her Faux fox stole.
I decided to go with a Faux Technique my go to one is Faux Silk but I wanted to try something different this time so I did Faux Mother of Pearl, I found a video HERE but used Blueprint Sketch distress oxide ink I made the faux mother of pearl with Frost White all purpose ink I bought years ago from Stampin'up.
This is my attempt at Faux Mother of Pearl. and now the finished card.
Once my background was dry I was having trouble decided what I could do as not to "hide" the mother of pearl background and I saw CAS(E) this Sketch prompt and I knew what I wanted to do. I entered their last challenge I don't normally do CAS but I'm very happy with this and nothing is taking away from the technique.
Finished the inside with an Impression Obsession stamp. Perfect for almost any occasion .
I'm entering this in:
Rudolph Days ~~ October
CAS(E) this Sketch ~~ #396 because of the size of my Large Sentiment I turned the sketch.
Thanks for stopping by today and although I didn't have any snark on my card today check out the rest of the Sister's projects on the MAIN BLOG you will find snark there.

Awesome job sistah!
Oooo what a fabby CAS card and thanks for joining us at October's Rudolph Days Challenge, Luv Sam x
Your Winter Wishes card is beautiful. I also bought the Frost White ink from SU and have never used mine. I like it on your background of DOX Blueprint Sketch. I'm sure it is stunning in real life.
I've been searching for a Winter Wishes die set and really like the die font style on your card. Is it a recent purchase? If so, I would appreciate it if you could please post the manufacturer. Thank you.
See, CAS can be good! :D Your technique turned out beautifully. I am so glad you let the background shine!
