Christmas Wishes to Warm Your Heart and Home........

Home/House is the challenge at the Jingle Belles Rock ~~ there needs to be a house on your Christmas project. I had quite the time deciding what I would use, in fact I brought several "house" stamps with me this weekend. so look for at least one more before the challenge is over on Wednesday. Here is what I ended up using.

I used the large background house stamp from Hero Arts Stamped it in tuxedo black memento ink layered it on red and on a black base, I added a bit of colour to the houses,. The car with the tree is also from Hero Arts, I coloured, fussy cut and added clear acetate to the windows.

Close up but you really can't see the acetate.

The sentiment on the front and the inside sentiment are from Stampabilities

I am entering this in:
Jingle Belles Rock ~~ O' Little Town of Bethlehem

12 Months of Christmas ~~ Optional theme the nature of Christmas

Thanks for visiting today and it's one more holiday card for my stash.

Wow, I love how much your colouring adds to the background stamp! Incredible fussy-cutting there, too. Love it!

Oh this is gorgeous, Barb! Love how you popped up the car! Great background stamp - it looks like patterned paper - awesome job with the colouring!

ohhhhhhhh you are SO CLEVER! i love that set of HA stamps, i think it's the shape of the car, tho of course the houses are cool as well. i love how you did the background in more muted colors and then BRIGHT RED CAR; plus the acetate windows and all the little details you've added are so perfect! what a brilliant addition to the "HOME for xmas" celebration at JINGLE BELLES! <3 <3 <3

So cute! My daughter was reminded of Christmas Vacation... would be fun to say "It's not going in our front yard, Russ..."
