Sentiments Only Challenge at Shopping Our Stash #142

If you are looking for the Clear it Out Tuesday post for today scroll down or just click HERE.
Are you ready for a great challenge? All you have to do is pick a great sentiment and put it on the front of your project. The most difficullt part is picking the sentiment. I have quite a few I could have used but I chose this great sentiment from Inkadinkado. Here is what I came up with for the Shopping Our Stash design team. Don’t forget to head over to the blog and see what the rest of the team have done.

The background is the textile embossing folder from Cuttlebug, I used the oval spellbinder’s dies and the flourish is from Cheery Lynn designs. I really shopped my stash for that one, I don’t know when I bought it or where. I think that means I have too much “stuff”
IMG_2010
I finished the inside with a simple Happy Birthday which is from a birthday sentiment set from Stampin’up.

Here is a closer look at the embossing folder and flourish.
Thanks for checking today to see what I have been busy doing and I hope you find some time to enter the Sentiments Only challenge at Shopping Our Stash.

New Challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday!!!

The challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday is something we all need more of…..something for a child, and the stash item is Bright Colours. Now that should be easy peasy.. Our sponsor this week is Stamp Art by Katheryne check out her store and see the great digis she has to offer, like the one I chose for this week’s design team card.

Isn’t he cute, and his little sidekick too. I coloured the image with spectrum noir and copic markers. I added the cloud embossing to the back ground, and the sentiment is from a Studio G clear stamp set. The spellbinders I used are Large and small rectangles and fancy labels dies.

using up some scrap pieces this is both sides of the inside of the card.

Week #2 for Challenge # 81 Anything Goes

At The Cheerful Stamp Pad the Anything Goes challenge continues for another week. Gecko Galz  is the sponsor for the challenge. I used the second of the freebies on the sponsor’s site and some of the script that was left over from last week’s card. I coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir and Bic markers.
IMG_2006
The pink layer under the images were scraps from last week’s card as well and the dsp is from a long time retired paper from Stampin’up, the whole scrap I used was in my scrap folder, I have become very thrifty lately. I was in a hurry and didn’t take the time to find the right size sentiment for the front of the card and of course didn’t use one on the inside yet, I still have some time before I have to mail the Easter cards.
IMG_2007
I used the Spellbinders large scalloped rectangle to cut the pink from the pink layer that I used on the front. since you only see the edges I can use the center for some thing else. How many of you do this to save cardstock?
Thanks for having a peek today and hope you find some crafty time and join us at the Cheerful Stamp Pad for the Anything Goes challenge.

Here is a close up, I added the rhinestones where there are buttons on her dress. the colours I used are Pear Pizzazz, not quite navy and GP white. Some retired dsp from Stampin’up.

Here is the finished inside, just needs a signature and an addressed envelope. Have no idea where I bought the sentiment, possibly Michaels, but I have no idea how long ago.

IMG_1990
What do you need on your wine glass when you are at a gathering? A wine glass charm. this is the close up of the charm I used for my stash item, it was from a package I bought at Michaels 2 years ago on clearance.
IMG_1991
Here is the sentiment on the front of the card and next is the finished inside of the card.

It’s Monday and it it;s Anything Goes at The Cheerful Stamp Pad

Welcome to the new challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad it’s an easy one this time, Anything Goes, there isn’t even a twist. The sponsor for the challenge is Gecko Galz check them out, there are freebies on their page. Every month there are new things and March has an Easter pick and a birthday one and a background paper. For my card I used the background paper and the birthday image. Have a look at what I came up with.
IMG_1993
Now isn’t that background paper fabulous, I love it. The image is pre-coloured all I did was add some stickles to the flowers and butterflies. The spellbinder I used is Fancy labels 8 and the “lace” I picked up at a yard sale.(great score)
IMG_1994
Just a close-up of the writing that’s is on the image.
IMG_1995
I thought the inside sentiment just followed along with the balloon theme.
Thanks for stopping by today I hope you find some crafty time to make a project for the ATG challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad.
