When I saw the “reaching for a star” image I knew I wanted to try an almost new to me fold. I received a card for my birthday from Sherry and it was an A2 center step card, I knew the image I had was perfect.

I coloured with Stampin’up Blendabilities and copics. The rhinestones were coloured with the alcohol marker.
IMG_2875
I used stardust stickles on the wings
IMG_2876
I will have to get clearance to make a tutorial on how to make the center step card in A2 form from the creator before I do anything,

Isn’t this the cutest snowman ever, I Love Love Love to make snowman cards. I coloured with spectrum noir and copics added white opal liquid pearl to the hat. My stash items are the plastic snowflakes (I’m running out) the blue brad (years old) and the glitter snowflake brad on the ribbon.

Just a closer look at the face and snowflake.

Shopping Our Stash #200….WOW

Shopping Our Stash 200th challenge and do we have an awesome challenge for you to celebrate it….BIG, BOLD and BEAUTIFUL!!!!! use something big (letters, flowers, ribbon...), or bold bright colors or images. I was having trouble with this one, I think I was over thinking the challenge or maybe had too many ideas but here is what I finally came up with.
IMG_2866
Okay peeps, don’t look too close as this was my first attempt at water colouring with my distress markers.I used a very large stamp, it was bigger than an A2 card, obvious I haven’t used it much. It is a retired one from Stampin’up and thought it would be a LARGE surface for me to work with,
IMG_2867
I’m not sure water colouring is my forte’ but I am pleased with the end result
Thanks for stopping by today and come celebrate challenge #200 with us at Shopping Our Stash head over to the blog read the rules for entering and don’t forget to have a look at what the rest of the design team have made.

The Owls Challenge continues at The Cheerful Stamp Pad

Challenge #110 Owls goes into it’s second week at The cheerful Stamp Pad the sponsor is Sweet Pea Stamps. I chose a digital image by Norma J Burnell I’m loving her images they are fabulous.  Here is mine for the challenge.
IMG_2860
The image was coloured with costal cabana blendablilities from Stampin’up, copic markers and spica glitter pens. The cardstock is Kraft by recollections, Bermuda bay (SU) and printworks patterned paper which I thought matched the flourishes on her dress.
IMG_2861
The image is named Olivia and Peter
IMG_2862
As I am not sure what I will use this card for I didn’t finish the inside although you can see how pretty the patterned paper is.

Happy Saturday and just in time for a NEW Challenge

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers has a new challenge it’s #33 Monochromatic Mama. We would like you to make a monochromatic Mother’s Day card, Description: Monochrome describes paintings, drawings, design, or photographs in one color or shades of one color.
IMG_2857
My favourite colour is Purple, all shades of purple so I did my monochromatic card in shades of purple. The base is Dark purple later that I stamped is wisteria wonder I used Versa fine purple to ink up the Flora background stamp (retired) from Stampin’up. I stamped the sentiment (also SU) on the wisteria wonder with the purple ink and layered it on a Concord grape fancy label die.
