Easter is just around the corner so for this challenge at Clear it Out we are using our stash of pastel papers plain or patterned or both if you have some. I used a discontinued Stampin’up colour called pale plum, I bought extra before it was retired and will be sad when it is gone.
As part of the design team I was given an image from A Day for Daisies to use. The image called Dancing with a Boy was coloured with prismas and odourless mineral spirits and is so cute, I thought it would make a great “prom” card or even a wedding card. The pale plum was embossed with the birds and swirls folder, the scalloped frame is done with concord grape card stock and the flowers from my growing stash of flowers.(I’m sure they multiply in the jars)

Spring is Just Around the Corner………
I needed to make a “get well” card for one of our Friday bowling members that was having surgery, The image I chose is from Flourishes they have the most awesome flowers and lots of other fabulous stamps. I coloured the image with prisma pencils and odourless mineral spirits, the base is 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 Wisteria cardstock. The white layer is embossed with the cherry blossom folder, The dark cardstock is Concord Grape and the frame is cut with the square spellbinder die Fleur dis Lis.

You Make me Smile with a twist……..
Welcome back, I hope you joined us for the Birthday Bash February 21. The winner of my blog candy was comment number 12, Luanne.
Now on with the new challenge. The theme is You Make me Smile and the twist is to use something that is not from your craft room. Here are a few suggestions, pop tabs, twist ties perhaps even a washer. The image I am using is from My Grafico, what a lovely collection of First Communion digi stamps and if you post a project on Clear it out challenge Blog you might just win the set.
For my card I chose a soft blue base, The fleur dis lis rectangle and regular rectangle spellbinder dies. I wanted a touch of blue behind the image so I cut and embossed it so I could cut the edge off to put on the blue layer. The flower is from the Stampin’up pretties set, I layered three petals, my twist is I used a hat pin that was floating around in my sewing box plus a couple of beads from a box I bought at a yard sale last year. I used prisma colour pencils and odourless mineral spirits to colour the hair. I’m not sure if it shows or not but I watered down some white opal liquid pearls and painted the veil and dress to give it a shimmer.
Thanks for stopping by today and please join us at Clear it Out I would love to see your project.
