Just a little fun for us at Shopping Our Stash
with the new challenge of colour me Monochromatic use your favourite colour we decided we needed to make it (gah) pink to honour Leslie that always said that at the sight of too much pink. I probably would have made it pink anyway as it's my next favourite colour after purple. I chose a very simple design, one I have done a few times with the Floral Background stamp (retired) from Stampin' up, I like it because you can use the whole piece or just as an accent and I have done it in all different colours. I have used Brilliance coral for the ink and it has a shimmer.
Boy did I so some "shopping my stash" with this card. Happy Birthday was cut from a scrap of pink glitter paper, the brads are from Winners there were 4 packs and not one pack was opened. The "button" was from a package from Dollarama and of course the scrap of vellum.
Finished inside of the card with my favourite sentiment (at the moment)
Thanks for stopping by and please join us at Shopping Our Stash for our first challenge of 2016.
Pretty pretty card Barb! Love the vellum and that background!
Very pretty, delicate design, Barb! Vellum is always such a nice touch and I love how you used it here!
Pink (gah) — a perfect tribute. :) Such a pretty card!
Such a pretty card :)
Those brads are so pretty. I have used embossing powder and heat embossed them to make them shiny like that :)
oh my gosh, the vellum! the background! & YES, we both went quiiiiiiiiiite CAS this week, which i feel sure is leslie's influence, lol. but of course you had me at (gah!) PINK!!! ♥♥♥
What a great creation in pink! I love the vellum and especially the button accent - at first I thought it was a guitar pick! NJ!
