Jingle All The Way!!!

Back again with another "Jingle" card for Christmas Kickstart, I had trouble deciding which stamp I would use for the challenge so I just made both. I love my Fluffles stamps and it's so sad that they are no longer available at Stampedous but I'm sure you can find them on e-bay or other auction places.

I used the current sketch challenge at Mojo Monday I knew it was perfect for the super cute fluffles image. I really love Julee's sketches and am so happy to have them back,  a lot of her sketches come with measurements for the different components of the sketch (this was one) saves a lot of guesswork. I followed the sketch, added some sticker dots to the flags and JOY at the bottom right under the watermark.

Finished the inside with some leftover scraps of paper and a Stampendous sentiment.

Joyous Noel!!

Jingle all the Way is the theme of Christmas Kickstart challenge, I missed getting a card in for the last one but I'm on top of it this time. Of course I used one of my many House Mouse images, Joyous Noel.

Coloured with a combination alcohol markers and spica glitter pens, The background is embossed with the cuttlebug snowflakes, Merry Christmas is a sticker sentiment and I added a few rhinestones on some of the snowflake centers. I'm working on flat cards for mailing this year, the last few cards I've sent have cost me double +10 cents.

Finished the inside with some mouse tracks and a sentiment from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps.

What do you do with an Awesome Sketch? Well make a card!!

When I saw the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches I knew it was perfect for the coloured image that was sitting on my desk, and I just happened to need a card for Rudolph Days!!

Again I used Fluffles, I just love the stamps from Stampendous, sad they are retired but I still use them. I just loved this sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches it was so perfect for the image and I got to use WASHI TAPE!! (from tapeworks) The white enamel dots are from the Eyelet Outlet and the patterned paper is from Stampin'up love that plaid. (many many years old)

Every cat lover around can relate to the "climbing of the tree" season. I coloured the tree and ornaments with spica glitter pens, although you can't see the sparkle in the picture.

Finished the inside with some scraps of paper and a perfect for the image sentiment.

Every year the Jingle Belles Rock Pink Christmas!! For every Pink Christmas card entered on their blog each of the ladies donate $2.00 toward Breast Cancer Research. Usually I have a lot more cards to post for the challenge but I only managed one card. (unless I can conjure up another before 6 p.m.

So sorry the picture is not very good, the lighting was bad and I was in a hurry. The stamp I used is from Kraftin' Kimmie, called Christmas Clara I'm not even sure how old it is but it's like me "old".

Finished the inside with a  sentiment from Stampendous and the tiny ornament stamp that was in the package with Clara. It also had a nice sentiment as well.

It's a NEW Challenge at Shopping Our Stash!! Halloween!!!

Shopping Our Stash has a new challenge and a very easy one since you need to be getting those Halloween cards done for the little ones. I have made this one for my 2 year old great grandson.  I used one of my favourite stamp company images....House Mouse, I've had this for many years, the patterned paper I used is a few years old, the die is only a year old but never been used until now, put them all together and here is what I've made.

It's a slider card, the carrot dressed mouse slide back and forth, action cards are always a hit with both little and big boys.

Close up of the adorable image.

Just a simple Happy Halloween and a scrap of patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by today and head over to the MAIN BLOG and check out the rest of the Halloween creations.

Calling All Gamers!!!

Welcome friends, followers and family!! It's a really quick post from me today as Seize the Birthday is winding up the challenge today and I just realized the card I made for my grandson was also supposed to be put on the challenge. I got rather wrapped up with the cable not working and waiting for them to come finally called and rescheduled until today, they were not very accommodating. I also had the cottage to close up although the weather was so nice it was really hard to do it. Now all my crafting things are back at home, next step to find there original homes.  Here is my gamer card.

It is a set of dies and quite fiddly to play with but I'm happy with the results. The 4 dots on the controllers are pearls from Eyelet Outlet, since I didn't have black pearls (they were at home) I coloured the gold ones with a dark grey copic marker. Happy Birthday was cut from the same silver paper as the controller.

Close up of the controllers, Next time I make them the circles will be cut with double sided tape on the cardstock or run them through the sticker maker, I think I had more glue on me than the die cut.

The inside was finished with a Hero Arts sentiment (one of the first I bought) and a strip of the patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a fabulous week.

It's That Time of Year again!!! P is for Pink Halloween

October is Breast Cancer awareness month and it's time for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers annual Pink Halloween challenge.

Look at the Awesome Graphic that Lee made for us this challenge.(note the burning  sage)

I saw a video from Jennifer Maguire Made in Minutes beaded slider card. (easy for her) My next attempt will be better and easier if there is one. Its a beaded slider card.

It would be easier if I had cut the spiders with double sided tape on them, (I will make a note of that) The spider slides up and down on a piece of clear thread. I didn't put a sentiment on the front as I didn't want to cover up the skulls.

second look at it after is slid down the thread,

Just a simple Happy Halloween on the inside (sorry I just couldn't snark a Pink Halloween card.

Thanks for stopping by today and check out the rest of the Pink Halloween cards on the Main Blog.

It's Pumpkin Spice Season!!!

It's a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash and Donna picked the theme of It's Pumpkin Spice Season, which is appropriate since everything seems to have pumpkin and/or spice in it's name.  The challenge might seem one note but you have lots of options, anything Autumn related, colours, images maybe a pumpkin too. I must admit Autumn colours are not my favourite but when pushed into using them I step up to the plate and close my eyes and make a project.

It really helps when you have some Bo-Bunny autumn themed paper, I picked this adorable Fluffles image jumping in the leaves. Happy Fall is one of a trio of Autumn themed digital images from Bugaboo.

Close up of the sentiment.

Finished the inside with a favourite all occasion sentiment from Printworks, a scrap of patterned paper and the last two of the trio from Bugaboo Designs.

I am entering this in:

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you can find some time to join in the fun challenge this fortnight. Don't forget to head over to the Main Blog and see the awesome creations the rest of the design team have made.

Z is for Zaphod Beeblebrox

So happy to be able to find time to make a card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, As I said before I was having trouble coming up with something for theme until it was too late to make it. this time I had an idea and ran with it. I googled the theme and came up with nothing but anything space related will work so it's aliens and a galaxy background, and to my astonishment it's pretty CAS for me.

I bought these super cute aliens and dies from a friend, I knew they would come in handy one day. I made the background when I was at the lake last week and decided I liked it without the black soot layer. It was much prettier to go with those adorable aliens.

Close up of the adorable alien.

The sentiment came with the stamp set, and is perfect.

Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my card, head over to the Main Blog there are many more really cute Z is for Zaphod Beeblebrox cards on display.
