I made an easel card using Tempting Turquoise as the base, the designer paper is from a DCW stack, the bling is from my huge stash. Dottie and the  cake were coloured with pencil crayons and odourless mineral spirits. I printed two images one to use as a base the other I cut Dottie and the icing out and popped them up.
I am giving away a oval shim to use with embossing folders in your pressure machine along with some bling and printed flowers as a prize. All you have to do is to leave your name in the comments to be eligible. Don’t forget to also make a card and enter it on the main page for your chance to win some more fabulous prizes from our sponsors!
Your next stop on the hop is Lorrie, if you get lost just go back to the Clear it Out Challenge Blog.to get back on track.

Make a Wish for your Birthday

I love doing the House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge every two weeks, it gives me more time to figure out what stamp I want to use. I had two of them that were perfect for the challenge and had to pick one…..it  was easy when I received the update from Use it Tuesday   Challenge blog and “its a Birthday Party” so decided Make a Wish featuring  Amanda and Monica will be the one. I loved the  monthly sketch for February at Midnight Madness Sketch challenge and decided it worked perfect for my card. So no more waiting….here it is.

The base is a retired Stampin’up colour Gable Green, the lacy oval is Tempting Turquoise. the designer paper is from a DCW pack I bought several years ago. The rhinestones are also from my stash. The image was coloured with prismas and oms and the icing has stickles added to it.
Thanks for dropping by today and do come back on Tuesday February 21st for a Birthday Blog hop……with “candy”

House Mouse love a Sketch

I am so far behind this week I think I’m first…….I have been working on this card for almost two weeks. I have no idea what my problem is but it had better soon disappear. I love House Mouse as most of you know and over  at House Mouse & Friends there is a “love blog hop” going on. I combined the challenge with a sketch from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge to make this card. Although there will be a new challenge at House Mouse & Friends tomorrow the sketch will be up until the end of the month. There are two sketches, you can make them fancy. simple or anything in between.

Clear it out Tuesday Challenge………………”LOVE”

The design team at Clear it out Tuesday was given a digi image to play with from Dearie Dolls, check them out the digi images are adorable and I had fun creating with “he loves me” image. The challenge will last for two weeks so stop by Clear it out Tuesday and add your Valentine/Love project to the link and while you are there have a look at what the design team has done to inspire you.

When I printed the image I knew that I just had to use “pink” seems  I like to use pink and purple a lot. I coloured with prismas and oms. I cut the image with my long rectangles, I used pretty in pink cardstock and dsp and the rose colour is a generic one in my stash. The flower was a gift from a friend and I think it just looks perfect on there.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today and  hope you will join us at Clear it out Tuesday for the LOVE challenge. Keep an eye on the blog for more exciting news.

My newest Tilda…….

A couple of weeks ago I went with my daughter on a “job trip”, she did her job and I went to the Town Scrapper in Petrolia. Phebe is a home based store and open by request so I knocked on the door to see if I could come and browse. I managed to bring home a couple of Tildas, a couple of Penny Black stamps, and a Mo Manning image too. When I got the e-mail from Drunken Stampers that Challenge #82 was “Something New” I just had to ink one of the Tildas up. The image is Tilda with a Hawaiian flower and I coloured her with my prismas and oms with my favourite colour…….a shade of purple. The cardstock I used is pale plum and perfect plum, both are retired Stampin’up colours. I used my new embossing folder from Craft Concepts called Florette.
