SOS#517 ~~ Round and Round, sounds like a fun challenge and we want to see round cards or feature circles, dots or spots on your project. I decided to tackle a Round easel card....now it does look complicated but it is so, so easy and you can make it what ever size circle dies you have. I used some infinity circle dies, spellbinders dies and a scalloped die from a fun card die set. All three of these are many years old and the set to make the card, hmmm cut out but never finished.(couldn't locate it when I wanted it) </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYXoETmYVvgLgxzkbVX6Dt-PaQ92-PU7cUKT3Ruw2NRtHBdBdxyTS5Ovu62bNaBGlSgO0zaGYDV5xGN28H5iChyphenhyphenLTt2Nkx6QUzd4kFtf7IPvUejT8iPjs-lbX-KGUUBKCqtSWqlbApSHAYqZsiR4-xZ8AnrMuwQhgiDl8O8LVa_AVVR4OuVtn2gd47yVvy/s2413/IMG_6784.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2413" data-original-width="2182" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYXoETmYVvgLgxzkbVX6Dt-PaQ92-PU7cUKT3Ruw2NRtHBdBdxyTS5Ovu62bNaBGlSgO0zaGYDV5xGN28H5iChyphenhyphenLTt2Nkx6QUzd4kFtf7IPvUejT8iPjs-lbX-KGUUBKCqtSWqlbApSHAYqZsiR4-xZ8AnrMuwQhgiDl8O8LVa_AVVR4OuVtn2gd47yVvy/s320/IMG_6784.JPG" width="289" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I love using my House Mouse stamps when I make fun fold cards so it was easy to pick one that fit in the circle die. I actually had the patterned paper on my desk for the Jingle Belles challenge "text me" so I just carried on with it even though the challenge ended at 6 p.m. I decided that I hadn't played along with Christmas Kickstart or Rudolph Days this month and if I don't reach of quota of 5 a month then it will be a November marathon. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBwqXkzK6gccuOXFrnG8yB97p64Jg4f2OTS-AYk-sZPuGLEKPQX7Xbkj3NYN_XmO8kvGyrD70bzm5ll60nHAkZnZizapxbQhaVmZQTqOhk02uGjY2ZQF1vqlZYvnbkNLEWu_W3v62GZUEJdXdbw_BY1zcH7jzI-q76CbSKNEDAZrxdc7YB7Vt8rGjsMXUs/s2423/IMG_6777.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2423" data-original-width="2288" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBwqXkzK6gccuOXFrnG8yB97p64Jg4f2OTS-AYk-sZPuGLEKPQX7Xbkj3NYN_XmO8kvGyrD70bzm5ll60nHAkZnZizapxbQhaVmZQTqOhk02uGjY2ZQF1vqlZYvnbkNLEWu_W3v62GZUEJdXdbw_BY1zcH7jzI-q76CbSKNEDAZrxdc7YB7Vt8rGjsMXUs/s320/IMG_6777.JPG" width="302" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">To start my card I had an already stamped Fluffles image in a pile so coloured it up, die cut with a pair of spellbinders circle dies. Sounds like an easy peasy challenge unless you are green challenged as I am except I love lime green so that is what I decided to use for my card. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNrNuWH1ykXLTmgVC8GmeecDmgo12PqHXzv6UM-ik3S6WHSnCgkRv_mlzmpWmnOyMvFDMTsAROyU0ugwQZaAslg2P72rRZfchwhwSSr8R6fZcnIcH9w7wylMkxvm8y01JCStXfFufMcoNTk8HCSevbTTKA5Z-O-hvNW88IxovdtqwPIdiet96HiMWa5_B_/s2451/IMG_6773.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2389" data-original-width="2451" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNrNuWH1ykXLTmgVC8GmeecDmgo12PqHXzv6UM-ik3S6WHSnCgkRv_mlzmpWmnOyMvFDMTsAROyU0ugwQZaAslg2P72rRZfchwhwSSr8R6fZcnIcH9w7wylMkxvm8y01JCStXfFufMcoNTk8HCSevbTTKA5Z-O-hvNW88IxovdtqwPIdiet96HiMWa5_B_/w320-h312/IMG_6773.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Since we were shopping our stash I dug deep for long retired Gable Green cardstock and ink as well as Green Galore for the mat and die cut. For the next 2 weeks we are looking forward to seeing lots of Winter Wonderland cards, you can make a winter scene or an all White card. Even being in Canada our winter wonderland is dull, drab and grey, we do have some lingering snow but to me it's just damp and drab. So I have dug deep into my stash and everything on my card is 2 years old or older. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIuHbZfIIzG_Z749iZ9s4LRa-jt7nCy2SG5f74hsPt_458jbpO3d-1nOYWn9m-iOAZvSt_VhImofX64AK6loioxmuVpa2ol_QBqFw8h-RXa8B4TtlBaMHCxnlj75TQFG5pUU_Nc6Jj8uMPFI7TNDMMVymidQXnPdQ93eEg9z_MvlPJg-2rrz3WlACwliur/s2669/IMG_6759.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="2669" height="368" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIuHbZfIIzG_Z749iZ9s4LRa-jt7nCy2SG5f74hsPt_458jbpO3d-1nOYWn9m-iOAZvSt_VhImofX64AK6loioxmuVpa2ol_QBqFw8h-RXa8B4TtlBaMHCxnlj75TQFG5pUU_Nc6Jj8uMPFI7TNDMMVymidQXnPdQ93eEg9z_MvlPJg-2rrz3WlACwliur/w400-h368/IMG_6759.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Sorry for the terrible picture, windows updated and changed my photo program and now I can't see how bright the card is. So I decided I wanted to make a wreath card with my favourite die from Gina Marie, I cut it twice and added some dimensionals between the two layers, added some white enamel dots from the<b><a href="https://www.eyeletoutlet.com/"> Eyelet outlet </a> </b>when I did a DT spot in 2017. I flat attached the wreath to the brick wall embossing folder layer which is on a scalloped square layer (EC designs). I cut 3 of each of the word dies 3 times and layered them these are the newest item at approximately 2-3 years young. Then it was added to a 5 1/2 inch square card base. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyi_Yj9PHygO_1OHeWxSL1v4a5MwpCI34mrxopKjLY0owJZJsBbJdiju5KCXeA0AisuHbrWddjsvvf2v0jUN1JjjXzR6RC4SVjTHH05qF3rkHhdvUg4dEaDCD67lo9ULlY2PbwIrj3jpAAYUx7KoNz__LmVtbbRmD-O7dLB7xHQzVUGHwQogMWI3UcMRfn/s3264/IMG_6760.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyi_Yj9PHygO_1OHeWxSL1v4a5MwpCI34mrxopKjLY0owJZJsBbJdiju5KCXeA0AisuHbrWddjsvvf2v0jUN1JjjXzR6RC4SVjTHH05qF3rkHhdvUg4dEaDCD67lo9ULlY2PbwIrj3jpAAYUx7KoNz__LmVtbbRmD-O7dLB7xHQzVUGHwQogMWI3UcMRfn/w400-h300/IMG_6760.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Close up of the wreath and winter words.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEfCfaiNhYK4ng9gCvVwksgCyGZF-LJ7vi4pYJN_S9IeCbxBt7YjaXGbPNSk_CcgwMSCWexD9JD9haPAJNUVkRWkuYvwHfuEnO8WhDvfptN4pNMHC-32_pwuYeM_b5GncbiNu85GoziaMJZAJH7c3zrxvJVlAk5IMd5y9ytfzwfFEUs8PvQm47uVkOhxG2/s3057/IMG_6761.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2419" data-original-width="3057" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEfCfaiNhYK4ng9gCvVwksgCyGZF-LJ7vi4pYJN_S9IeCbxBt7YjaXGbPNSk_CcgwMSCWexD9JD9haPAJNUVkRWkuYvwHfuEnO8WhDvfptN4pNMHC-32_pwuYeM_b5GncbiNu85GoziaMJZAJH7c3zrxvJVlAk5IMd5y9ytfzwfFEUs8PvQm47uVkOhxG2/w400-h316/IMG_6761.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Finished the inside of the card with a favourite sentiment from Hero Arts. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I'm entering this in:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><a href="https://scrapsoflifebyscrappymo.blogspot.com/2024/01/jan-2024-rudolph-days-challenge.html">Rudolph Days</a></b> ~~ January </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><a href="https://abcchristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/01/abc-christmas-challenge-b-are-for.html">ABC Christmas </a>~~ </b>A is for Anything Christmas</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBEhM3UWhUGUHQCe11Tp2Ai-xvMLU4TTn7V8OGRrQqTFErqQEtnsq0PPLWeDHsWdc9GYenawMnWMrmA5CMAl79a0hSYE-_NqHsAJjJI1KlMCMkj1SifQuaHCXkttYiX14AWrRzE79f83OcvBoTN_vlgElhyphenhyphen-vMTUP9KyCWnI8cNGzRWLJ8vL9_iHbQZ0hh/s320/heart.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="182" data-original-width="320" height="114" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBEhM3UWhUGUHQCe11Tp2Ai-xvMLU4TTn7V8OGRrQqTFErqQEtnsq0PPLWeDHsWdc9GYenawMnWMrmA5CMAl79a0hSYE-_NqHsAJjJI1KlMCMkj1SifQuaHCXkttYiX14AWrRzE79f83OcvBoTN_vlgElhyphenhyphen-vMTUP9KyCWnI8cNGzRWLJ8vL9_iHbQZ0hh/w200-h114/heart.png" width="200" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thanks for stopping by and it's time to get your Holiday cards started and I'm looking forward to seeing yours in the<a href="https://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/2024/01/sos514-winter-wonderland.html"> gallery.</a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p><br /></p>Barbara Goddenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04932304294070032046noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8981215056459035986.post-83702253737265716632024-01-16T06:30:00.067-05:002024-01-16T06:30:00.247-05:00Once Upon A Time......<p> Shopping Our Stash had a very good break and now it's time for our first Challenge of 2024!! Once Upon A Time so it's fairy tales, princesses, knights, dragons, if it isn't obvious let us know what the fairy tale is. I had some problems with this challenge, every fairy tale I thought of I had nothing to design it with so I went with a "new" fairytale made by Disney. If you can't guess what it is I will add it to the end of my post.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs4liCU8i0YPo_naLnW_r96d7PeJhswjXZhPrh4kJGMl9-5hMkRuSs3GIpztyxenyKyNw3J33K1eg1ZDHEW1JnKzhGVtimJ-WMxS4M5Q7LKnDidhDCwT3x9N58PWM-x9gHx2ht-aRFgjH_jn_2V5XoPIS9AfhewoM1DdT2TijJXWjQ6xXxAGoTbW79vQe8/s2421/IMG_6755.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2421" data-original-width="2111" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs4liCU8i0YPo_naLnW_r96d7PeJhswjXZhPrh4kJGMl9-5hMkRuSs3GIpztyxenyKyNw3J33K1eg1ZDHEW1JnKzhGVtimJ-WMxS4M5Q7LKnDidhDCwT3x9N58PWM-x9gHx2ht-aRFgjH_jn_2V5XoPIS9AfhewoM1DdT2TijJXWjQ6xXxAGoTbW79vQe8/w349-h400/IMG_6755.JPG" width="349" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The image is a digital image from Lacy Sunshine and I have had it for a long time, sorry didn't take note of the date I downloaded it, but I have a lot of here images all of them were free. I used Elizabeth Craft Designs Oval and Postage stamp Rectangle dies I added two extra layers of ovals under the image to elevate it. The inky background was a semi-fail attempt at blending and somehow it surfaced when I was putting the card together I did put it through a falling leaves SU embossing folder, of course I didn't check which way the inked side was on so instead of using the embossed "white" side I used the debossed. blended side. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; She was on the design teams of many challenges I loved when it was her turn for the sketch at Tuesday morning sketches, and loved buttons, many of her image circles were edged in brightly coloured buttons, she was also really good at quilling and many of her cards have beautifully quilled designs on them, she could also "snark" with the best of them. My way of remembering Jessi is to use one of the crocheted circles that she made, and an image I'm sure she would have put googlie eyes on. It worked well for me since I'm still working on holiday cards. The theme is Winter Holidays so lots of choices, Christmas, Hanukkah, Happy New Year and as you see by my title I made a Hanukkah card. I wanted to use my never been used Hanukkah die and it was an excuse to get out the layering snowflake die set, </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGT51zB5zIWvfjZD0ha8mwv4vMF4MSNJ1vG4BuKpPTQSD2NPGDZaTrDB8nJeRitQ0j2N3oXhNgT8QSY6gWX5mjjwAgmlIjRWnQOdEa3VBkfAuSoUJJWBbSCTEmuL3xouwV3q046FGtW45yX98NSkaEWX6pKdebqmx4Y43AdzgZKX_kxwtcLP0xaMxeHF8C/s2406/IMG_6729.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; Lots of choices Snow, Rain, Cloud or any other weather related idea. Since I am in full speed ahead Christmas card mode I chose SNOW. We have had our first preview of Winter I wasn't impressed with it so I would like to cancel the rest of my subscription/</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj63Ev6KFiF0RJ7rtxdpqwgBIHtujg57NHIwMV_aKjBSYIKsuCKAa60bXtBebzLfllRXHgEw37EJO1wJyt3LMD9PWyltAcs3oVRVJps90oxB0EFZJjLmf_cn4y3EyvliaTFGH4aL6Jk9f4d2qV4kCQM7N25CSGtlQCuEG30GnQNuZYYpZKQiuCFIUG2keeB/s2448/IMG_6722.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="2141" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj63Ev6KFiF0RJ7rtxdpqwgBIHtujg57NHIwMV_aKjBSYIKsuCKAa60bXtBebzLfllRXHgEw37EJO1wJyt3LMD9PWyltAcs3oVRVJps90oxB0EFZJjLmf_cn4y3EyvliaTFGH4aL6Jk9f4d2qV4kCQM7N25CSGtlQCuEG30GnQNuZYYpZKQiuCFIUG2keeB/w350-h400/IMG_6722.JPG" width="350" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have had this Olaf die for hmm 2 years, it was still in it's packaging, I had to clip all those tiny dies apart and hope for the best, I cut 2 of Olof, 2 each of the twig arms so they were stable and I glued them inside the two diecuts as I wanted to put Olaf on a Wobble. Now I never trow my fails out (unless they are really bad) and when I saw a post what do you have on your craft table the "fail" was there including the silver die cut I had planned on using and when I looked at it the green "fail" didn't look too bad so I finished it and I like how it came together. I am sure I just need practice using sprays. So there is my story about why I'm early to Rudolph Days.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_M2q7EtuNoV2R6Q81hfYYj21s2l9bSrC0FPQsSsK-irvaciP-R1PyJ0FEvLQdqM_JL4YJ8M0hs-5354738mfWISHGEGPoeZhWvUym65S7lSIigncvg9vda-pvV5wcej5J4_nq3g5DKyvVkPBx6gAWhlrlZklPRHaHsIEP7L08dyg8t8VmTCxkccppSCts/s2355/IMG_6718.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2355" data-original-width="2040" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_M2q7EtuNoV2R6Q81hfYYj21s2l9bSrC0FPQsSsK-irvaciP-R1PyJ0FEvLQdqM_JL4YJ8M0hs-5354738mfWISHGEGPoeZhWvUym65S7lSIigncvg9vda-pvV5wcej5J4_nq3g5DKyvVkPBx6gAWhlrlZklPRHaHsIEP7L08dyg8t8VmTCxkccppSCts/w346-h400/IMG_6718.JPG" width="346" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I used the more textured side of the paper, it does shine nicely too but sparkle never shows well in photos. I love my embossing folders and although I have a couple of 3D folders for this challenge I used a regular folder for a new to me technique using a music folder and since we are shopping our stash some metallic rub on set that is at least 15 years old, one of the colours didn't work but the rest was nice and creamy, and the embossing folder I'm guessing at least 10 years young. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFfS1whiECAl4TVYMFgb8NrRrhzI4PbtvSe92IF4JEG7T0nIvACQqRNJqxAcl95fKttH4QN8CUC0pHm27REcsmEjMJUefL0d2aLY4Ou0q4J4dnM5ZzgkcbWTiLtkFKu6widRmPZQZPCC-CcROlPRUVHxUxjNm3MVZpbRWwNAGJrfPUR_p4P3rDA0QtaDDv/s2350/IMG_6699.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2350" data-original-width="2203" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFfS1whiECAl4TVYMFgb8NrRrhzI4PbtvSe92IF4JEG7T0nIvACQqRNJqxAcl95fKttH4QN8CUC0pHm27REcsmEjMJUefL0d2aLY4Ou0q4J4dnM5ZzgkcbWTiLtkFKu6widRmPZQZPCC-CcROlPRUVHxUxjNm3MVZpbRWwNAGJrfPUR_p4P3rDA0QtaDDv/w375-h400/IMG_6699.JPG" width="375" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The metallic wax in several colours was rubbed on the black embossed cardstock with my fingers until I liked the shading, added the layer to copper paper and on a black base. happy birthday is popped up. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyU_2rQd8jObrtcD8ZGTuDy5kpAIbGToG7cJZ4BAwIuMvwhRwie4ulKxkPglIysTxvADtGCa4MJ-xEw5H4xbW7dicVO5ovO0zEOd2e-SpgEZvwC1dHqSgMsmZ_WW00jwmlIRiiB9Zn4-S31UhJoAEXB38h_l7mgjIFGpn4_RG5Tc9PnWt69KpzhcqmAViH/s2435/IMG_6700.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2435" data-original-width="2191" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyU_2rQd8jObrtcD8ZGTuDy5kpAIbGToG7cJZ4BAwIuMvwhRwie4ulKxkPglIysTxvADtGCa4MJ-xEw5H4xbW7dicVO5ovO0zEOd2e-SpgEZvwC1dHqSgMsmZ_WW00jwmlIRiiB9Zn4-S31UhJoAEXB38h_l7mgjIFGpn4_RG5Tc9PnWt69KpzhcqmAViH/w360-h400/IMG_6700.JPG" width="360" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The inside was finished with a couple of strips of copper paper and a sentiment.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thanks for stopping by today and we would love to see what you can do with wet or dry embossing. </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Barbara Goddenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04932304294070032046noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8981215056459035986.post-7845783334605851142023-11-04T16:30:00.001-04:002023-11-04T16:30:00.137-04:00Happy Little Stampers Christmas November Challenge<p> Another month has arrived and with the new month it's a new challenge at Happy Little Stamper's Christmas Challenge. That being said here is my 4 day card.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiabgJghpPS5qfV5EAVsv6ghzFr-C02zu1pv0J_xYiqZMeUti_Z2hJE-1zRZPMWXqhFzr6nBiL4yiFD_G-PIlLjrVfB0GMb0m9iTjXsXzW0TiberZKCMCrkeCkQ1vu818q8pho_JAOAna4doIhrJ88I3AFIj3oxspMQcXnrtDtr2nxsWJ9IL-K9jXAY8P9B/s924/december%202022%20xmas.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="924" data-original-width="924" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiabgJghpPS5qfV5EAVsv6ghzFr-C02zu1pv0J_xYiqZMeUti_Z2hJE-1zRZPMWXqhFzr6nBiL4yiFD_G-PIlLjrVfB0GMb0m9iTjXsXzW0TiberZKCMCrkeCkQ1vu818q8pho_JAOAna4doIhrJ88I3AFIj3oxspMQcXnrtDtr2nxsWJ9IL-K9jXAY8P9B/s320/december%202022%20xmas.png" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Now here is my "stencil" card</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRzMMP2xHmaxVoP_jjYj5YUyYzFVX9yJcAoohu63Im463U34tYukSp8X4PtOu8Bx4cij4wBTaP7qpPg3X3wL5YbPfFQfik-q7_SNrDCF0ho2k1_o22z6UkvTp_lPVA0Eg8YYL5r5scUPsRuUzCuLovENBtnx6i3gCMn7nxL-QpHmc1Rr4F0UjiZqCR5eVD/s2571/IMG_6694.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /><img border="0" data-original-height="2321" data-original-width="2571" height="361" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRzMMP2xHmaxVoP_jjYj5YUyYzFVX9yJcAoohu63Im463U34tYukSp8X4PtOu8Bx4cij4wBTaP7qpPg3X3wL5YbPfFQfik-q7_SNrDCF0ho2k1_o22z6UkvTp_lPVA0Eg8YYL5r5scUPsRuUzCuLovENBtnx6i3gCMn7nxL-QpHmc1Rr4F0UjiZqCR5eVD/w400-h361/IMG_6694.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Before I had my tumble I had printed 4 digital images from Bugaboo Stamps and boy it has been a lifesaver to have them ready to colour, I am not very proficient with stencils I have a few but I rarely use them but the sone I used is snowflake dots which I used some paste on, I would have preferred an inked background but went with a white on white, I coloured (not well) and fussy cut and tucked in behind a snowbank. So what I did again this month is dig into my coloured images, and my scrap box and collect what I needed to make the card the eaiest way I knew how.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigdEUADTotR2Iz3MHOyfEpZawvzQ15PfGTCups3GezyhG4vSJOB2exKhs9ZVTaWHlW1e1LtQGPo7JYz0cpZJmtYIMhnxHLrCL8BEDwzIKAg3Mjx3h3DsGAgQMqHLxpMS67jCRLHrjlBNgVWN_hAxObJFLc-IcUyKYGC-v5cCbQ6Mk-7Hmr6kMluITdow6h/s2832/IMG_6692.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2114" data-original-width="2832" height="299" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigdEUADTotR2Iz3MHOyfEpZawvzQ15PfGTCups3GezyhG4vSJOB2exKhs9ZVTaWHlW1e1LtQGPo7JYz0cpZJmtYIMhnxHLrCL8BEDwzIKAg3Mjx3h3DsGAgQMqHLxpMS67jCRLHrjlBNgVWN_hAxObJFLc-IcUyKYGC-v5cCbQ6Mk-7Hmr6kMluITdow6h/w400-h299/IMG_6692.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The reindeer duo and moose digital image is from Bugaboo Stamps, sadly no longer operating. So this month again I found a couple of digital images I had printed off and I managed to colour them (don't look too close) and then looked for scraps to finish the front, the process took a couple of days. Although the air boot is lighter than a plaster cast it's still heavy and in the way. Well with all that being said here is my simple offering for the August Rudolph days.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvIjT2_DNeirfLYC1ddBoCLCsoUhE-llkJ6umsbLK0MMZQNpBsOYACQ6-Mz4uhcBDFmb4XR2P4q8FfYMa8Eb48DcyPJglJoBCkXngIz3rcLAorUtzCb1UJKF2NeIVwKmMKpRQrOVdwvm8dtE36DaqdP8JR-_V3E0DAoRGCEnOnxDeJIEEOMnjnwWbdh5Za/s2905/IMG_6688.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2262" data-original-width="2905" height="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvIjT2_DNeirfLYC1ddBoCLCsoUhE-llkJ6umsbLK0MMZQNpBsOYACQ6-Mz4uhcBDFmb4XR2P4q8FfYMa8Eb48DcyPJglJoBCkXngIz3rcLAorUtzCb1UJKF2NeIVwKmMKpRQrOVdwvm8dtE36DaqdP8JR-_V3E0DAoRGCEnOnxDeJIEEOMnjnwWbdh5Za/w400-h311/IMG_6688.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The digi is from Bugaboo Stamps (sadly they are closed) I decided to make the birds into Winter Robin, I added foam tape to elevate the image and added a Merry Christmas Sticker sentiment.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWGKYQmaOpL4EYYDAXWJclvUrsY9QeZ12YJbSbot_2TxR-iIXs9oPDD8zLQTJgLhzXmoe6Cp6BxF42RDgHrm7SEiRQOXB8QvctrJZ_k-VxoNiKSGeIJtRvDgPyKU5tEGIsq8pRwqsymbFiIAC6t13jrXuL-GB9FmlEL4JICyd2nEEIKz7BzrChv7uqDUBh/s3264/IMG_6689.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWGKYQmaOpL4EYYDAXWJclvUrsY9QeZ12YJbSbot_2TxR-iIXs9oPDD8zLQTJgLhzXmoe6Cp6BxF42RDgHrm7SEiRQOXB8QvctrJZ_k-VxoNiKSGeIJtRvDgPyKU5tEGIsq8pRwqsymbFiIAC6t13jrXuL-GB9FmlEL4JICyd2nEEIKz7BzrChv7uqDUBh/w400-h300/IMG_6689.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Close up of the image, they are so adorable </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I am adding tis to:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b><a href="https://scrapsoflifebyscrappymo.blogspot.com/2023/08/august-rudolph-days-challenge.html">Rudolph Days </a></b>~~ August</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thanks for stopping by to see my one an only card I have crafted in August.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p><br /></p>Barbara Goddenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04932304294070032046noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8981215056459035986.post-18736887969700542652023-07-27T19:02:00.002-04:002023-07-27T19:02:51.326-04:00Rudolph Days ~~~ July<p> Hello my crafty friends it's time for the July edition of Rudolph Days. I haven't been crafting in over two weeks and it will be a bit longer. I had my knee fail me and I collapsed on the floor and broke my ankle it has been a bit of a trial as I did not want to stay so in order to come home I was fitted for an air boot and crutches and of course not to put a lot of weight on the broken ankle until the Dr. calls. I immediately knew I would not be able to take care of my Design Team duties, so they are shelved until I can put weight on my leg but on July 25th I realized I can't miss Rudolph days so knowing I had lots of off cuts, some coloured images etc. I could make one but it took me 2 days to glue it together. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisMajw83-Y2GSzFm6l1kTTUnS1ImaieKmwye49n1Yn8L3N9C0HkpDjQRJNRVe5t7vst25NSRAcEEoi1GxM92IaHHRECZeiMpIe14rd_kWgW_6XNvnY0nYkemvMm0NS9KyU4tP1Ah2FqMp4FIWD7Si_kJAoxszUImBoIsTUERaTSt1GkGj8Qrr-Pl1Cqqd3/s2376/IMG_6686.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2376" data-original-width="1665" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisMajw83-Y2GSzFm6l1kTTUnS1ImaieKmwye49n1Yn8L3N9C0HkpDjQRJNRVe5t7vst25NSRAcEEoi1GxM92IaHHRECZeiMpIe14rd_kWgW_6XNvnY0nYkemvMm0NS9KyU4tP1Ah2FqMp4FIWD7Si_kJAoxszUImBoIsTUERaTSt1GkGj8Qrr-Pl1Cqqd3/s320/IMG_6686.JPG" width="224" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">My day in a recliner that I am in bed when it's time to turn out the lights. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And now my card.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVOpgObsugp4LAYjQtDvqNsD5VWuXHvs7nIM_mkZ-KdOzUHynCx8j9xrWEkDj2gRHVHhmLkRNWvUs2zQoQPHQA1ngbFi8ENu5bfP5hL8cJgMem0Eih38IBl_sEcHDZgaWuGX6UIztco1d9Y6U0AppFzFBbGpUdg7RfJgvISzOvgZ30A1DXA06t17MwUrZc/s2912/IMG_6684.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2156" data-original-width="2912" height="237" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVOpgObsugp4LAYjQtDvqNsD5VWuXHvs7nIM_mkZ-KdOzUHynCx8j9xrWEkDj2gRHVHhmLkRNWvUs2zQoQPHQA1ngbFi8ENu5bfP5hL8cJgMem0Eih38IBl_sEcHDZgaWuGX6UIztco1d9Y6U0AppFzFBbGpUdg7RfJgvISzOvgZ30A1DXA06t17MwUrZc/s320/IMG_6684.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The super cute penguin image is a digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps it was already coloured and layered on the tag die.
