It's Rudolph Days for June!!!

Here I am sneaking in on almost the last day again,  but I made it!!! I love Rudolph Days  and for the May challenge I won the prize so stay tuned next month I will use my prize I'm so excited to get a chance to use it for July Rudolph days.

I coloured a "Bugaboo Designs" Santa and fussy cut him last weekend but time was not on my side last week so created the scene Saturday morning. As you see there are glittery "trees" they were the off cuts from a doily I die cut. and if you remember the last blog post there was a "hitchhiker" on the close up picture, which was not stuck only out for "photo bomb".

Along with the glittery trees I added stickles to the clouds, present and the snow.

Snow Much Fun!!!

The challenge at the Jingle Belles is SNOW, snowmen, snow flakes snowy scenes anything that features the fluffy white stuff.  I love all my snowman stamps and digital ones too. and couldn't resist using one for the challenge. My image is digital and from Dearie Dolls, you can check it out, although no new ones are being added they are still available to download free.

I made a 5 1/4 inch square card because I saw this snowflake die cut in my "parts" box and new I wanted to use it for the challenge.  Since I find the most time to craft when at the cottage, the only drawback is no internet so I make the trip into Simcoe to the library to add it to challenges.  I also forgot to bring my Christmas sentiments along again.  Downside of bringing things to the lake is I have to tote them home in October.

Close up but ignore that tiny hitchhiker (check out my next post to see what it is) I added some bling to the snowflakes.

It's another Santa Baby Card for the Jingle Belles....

As I said I was going to try  to get a second card done for the Jingle Belles Rock challenge. It will be a quick post as I'm on a time schedule today.

When I got the "sneak" preview on Facebook of the new sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches I knew it worked for the image I had coloured on the weekend,  Although with limited supplies (no sentiments) I managed to work with the sketch. The image is from Bugaboo Stamps, paper and sentiment are from a paper pack, lace from the dollar store.

Close up of the sentiment and the leaf/grass die cut.

You Are So Punny....

At Shopping Our Stash this fortnight we want you to be "punny" (use a pun/a joke/play on words. I have been having trouble finding enough time and mojo to get cards done lately, I'm hoping to get my "ducks in a row" soon, first I need to find the row lol.  We are spending a rather cool (bordering on cold) weekend at the cottage, I have a few supplies but not as many as I needed to totally make my card so the inside will have to wait.  I found the stamp in the $2.00 bin at Michaels in Oshawa when I was away last weekend but the papers I used are several years old.

The card is a 5 1/4 inch square card and the image was coloured with spica glitter pens. Do you think Happy Holidays on the front would be too cluttered or do you like it the way it is?

Thanks very much for your input

Head over to the main blog and check out the really great "punny" design team cards.

Santa Baby!!!

The Jingle Belles are featuring Santa for this challenge.  I just managed to squeeze one in on the weekend while at the cottage, I'm hoping there is time on Wednesday to pop another one in.

It would have been much better if I had more basic dies...note to self pack some circles.  I went with a hot weather Santa from Bugaboo stamps, isn't he a cutie, I'm not sure if he is vacationing or just a quick stop on his midnight run, he sure looks like he is having a fun day at the beach.

Since there were limited supplies (I must organize better) I have no sentiment stamps or dies with me so the inside will be finished when I get home.

M is for Menopause ~~ Challenge #137 at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers

The next two weeks at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers  are brought to you by M is for Menopause!!

Anything to do with the "older" generation I head for the box with the Art Impressions Girlfriends stamps, they are the best for giggles, and the one I chose can be used for many occasions.

Not only did I fussy cut everything out, I paper pieced the "sofa" . The background paper is from American Crafts, Project life paper pad. The sofa print is from Stampin'up.

Close up of the sentiment, which is from Art Impressions (so many really great sentiments)

The inside was finished with some scraps of paper and another fabulous sentiment from Art Impressions. (it came with the image)

Thanks for visiting my blog today and head over to the MAIN BLOG and see what crazy menopausal cards the rest of the design team have made.
