Out on a Limb!!!

My goodness I'm on a roll this week 3 posts in 2 days  but it's nice to be making fun cards for challenges and to build my Holiday stash. I actually had the patterned paper on my desk for the Jingle Belles challenge "text me" so I just carried on with it even though the challenge ended at 6 p.m. I decided that I hadn't played along with Christmas Kickstart or Rudolph Days this month and if I don't reach of quota of 5 a month then it will be a November marathon.

To start my card I had an already stamped Fluffles image in a pile so coloured it up, die cut with a pair of spellbinders circle dies. Patterned paper is Peppermint from Crate Paper. Sketch is from Sheetload of Cards February 2022.

Finished the inside with a couple of scraps of paper and a Stampabilities (no longer in business) steamp.

Text Me!!

Finally I have a card made for the Jingle Belles Rock!! I have tried to get to all the challenges since January 1st and there never seems to be enough time so today I MADE time and got one done. Now my last post I said I was green challenged and what did I make today another green card nothing like pushing my luck.

This is a mini slimline card 3 1/4 X 6 1/4 and is the perfect size for putting money or a cheque in for a gift. The sketch is from a Sheetload of cards January 2023 which makes 8 cards but there are instructions for a single card. Patterned paper is Holly Jolly from American Crafts, the cute owl is a Stampendous mini clear stamp and was stamped and coloured last year so I just fussy cut him, flat attached his feet and popped the rest of him up.

Finished the inside with a scrap of patterned paper and a vertical sentiment from Stampabilities.

It's Not Easy Being Green..............

Hello and welcome to a NEW challenge at Shopping Our Stash as Kermit always says...It's not easy being Green which is our challenge for the next fortnight. We want to see projects that are mostly green. Sounds like an easy peasy challenge unless you are green challenged as I am except I love lime green so that is what I decided to use for my card.

Since we were shopping our stash I dug deep for long retired Gable Green cardstock and ink as well as Green Galore for the mat and die cut. I tried a new technique with the 3D folder, ink the debossed side, spritz and run it through the big shot, I feel it doesn't have enough dimension next time I will add a shim so the embossed parts are sharper and maybe go heavier on the ink.

Finished the inside with a cling stamp from Stampendous, a couple of scraps and a trio of rhinestones.

Here is the proof of the age of my ink and cardstock.

The ink pad is the really old style and I was surprised it wasn't totally dry.

Put Your Best Face Forward!!

Happy Galentines day to my female followers!!

No I don't have a Galentines or Valentines card to show you (never thought about making one of them) but I do have one for our NEWd challenge at Shopping Our Stash, put your best face forward and what that means is put a HUMAN face on your project.

Well the AI Girlfriends faces are the most recognizable I have in my stash, and I have lots and love them all. Now I started out with colouring my image and when done I was sorting through some scraps of cardstock and well what did I spy but a 3D embossed floral background and in the same pile was the Happy Birthday to You die cut, BONUS!! don't you love it when the universe aligns things for you?

I added the perfect sentiment to go with the image on the front and layered it on, Yes, another scrap of turquoise cardstock from that pile, I cut it with the postage stamp die to use on the front but saw the embossed piece, well wasn't going to put it back into the "pile" so I used it on the inside.

Do You Want To Build A Snowman?

Welcome to the February edition of the monthly Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, it must be the 1st Saturday of the new month because there is a New challenge.

Awesome graphics by Lee.

As you see it's W is for Winter although here in SWO it's been hit and miss with the snowflakes but I don't think I have seen the sun for weeks, it's wet, damp and dreary, it's looking like we might see some Sun on the weekend. So here is my offering for the W theme.

I coloured the grumpy kitty and did some fussy cutting on it to make the snowbank, I had bought a paper pad that is filled with galaxy backgrounds so used one, since I was in a time crunch to get it done, now looking for a scrap to use I found this snowflake embossed piece the perfect size. BONUS.  The sentiment also came with the set so I stamped and cut it with one of the speech bubble dies from Stampin' up.

Close up of the sentiment.

Finished the inside with a stamp from a set from Elizabeth Craft Designs. and a scrap of the the galaxy paper.

I would like to add this to:
