The pink layer under the images were scraps from last week’s card as well and the dsp is from a long time retired paper from Stampin’up, the whole scrap I used was in my scrap folder, I have become very thrifty lately. I was in a hurry and didn’t take the time to find the right size sentiment for the front of the card and of course didn’t use one on the inside yet, I still have some time before I have to mail the Easter cards.
I used the Spellbinders large scalloped rectangle to cut the pink from the pink layer that I used on the front. since you only see the edges I can use the center for some thing else. How many of you do this to save cardstock? Thanks for having a peek today and hope you find some crafty time and join us at the Cheerful Stamp Pad for the Anything Goes challenge.

I always say if people took my cards apart they'd be surprised to see how chopped up the under layers are. Pretty card. I like the idea of leaving a space for a sentiment to be added later. This card will be for Easter, but for a generic card it is an especially good idea. Then it could be a birthday card, thinking of you card, get well, etc. depending on what you need.
Fabulous card...tfs
