Ok this is a stash bustin' card, the only cut piece was the base. The background behind the sleigh (first time using it) is a failed northern lights technique, The frame is a die I bought ages ago and never used (I saw an ornament and had to have the die, you know the routine) the gold was a fairly large scrap on my table although it really doesn't look gold in the picture but I promise you it is.
You can see the northern lights and the lovely as a tree that was embossed with some black sparkle embossing powder, I dotted it with some stickles.
I dug out my rarely used Egyptian gold embossing powder for the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today and I would love to see your project on the SOS blog and give me some ideas for non holiday gold cards lol.

beautiful card and bonus points for meritorious stash-usage as well! (i really like the northern lights technique... not sure how it is a "fail" tho; i expect you just made one you liked even better, afterwards?)
What a cool design!! Great card!!
Haha, Barbara! You are funny... love reading your posts!
This is a great card-- it sounds like you definitely shopped your stash! It's amzing that you pulled stashed items together and hardly had to cut anything to get-r-done!
This fog has been something huh??
UGH, not a fan!
Your card on the other hand is awesome!! Love it!!
Well done! A beautiful card, and I think your night sky looks great.
Yes, the fog is not good for driving around in (which of course I did) and screams for one to hole up in one's craft room! LOL! I adore this card! Love that Northern lights background, all the touches of gold and your card design!
Barbara, I have this pretty dies from SU, I've also never have used them, arghh!! you just gave me the kick in the pants I needed to bring this dies out of obscurity and crank them up for the first time.
Love your Northern Lights background and the silhouettes of the trees, the die cut frame does look golden and so beautiful.
Fabulous sentiment on your finished inside too.
Hugs,
Maria.
Love the white silhouettes against the dark background and your gold frame is beautiful.
Hello, Barb! How are things going with you? Hope it's all good! Your card is beautiful! I love how you made the little scene inside the ornament! Don't worry about your snow - I'm sure it will be back soon! We had a bit this morning, but most has melted away by now and that's just fine with me!
I disagree with you, I don't think it was a failed attempt at the Northern Lights, it looks gorgeous!!
Another beautiful card :)
Hey, Barb! Better late then never, right? I had some health challenges and then my computer crashed! Love your project. You made amazing use of embossing powder! No fails here just great crafting!
Hugz,
Chana
