I am trying some new ways of photographing my cards so I laid this flat on some dsp and took the picture. The stamp I used is Stippled Rose from Stampin'up, one of my first stamps I bought from them and love it. The diecut border is a spellbinders border die I have had for several but never used. the patterned paper is ancient bought before I knew what to do with it, but it was a good price. The flowers are from a 50 cent bin at Len's Mills also a couple of years old.
I took the petals off the stems and re-assembled them.
Hat pin I bought 4 or 5 years ago and beads from my jewelry making box
A different angle picture, I spritzed the whole card with clear shimmer mist, hope you can see it.
finished the inside with an odd scrap of patterned paper and a scrap of pink.
Funny thing today when I finished my card I showed it to my biggest fan, my hubby and he said "are you going to give that one away?"
Finally the end of my post, glad you hung in there and I hope you like my "shabby chic" card.
Wonderful project! I am just in love with those flowers they are pretty! Nice composition!

This is beautiful Barb!!
Every time you make a card like this you say you are no good at it...I very strongly disagree!!
LOL! I'm laughing at what Donna said, as I was thinking the same thing! I don't know why you say you can't do this style, because CLEARLY you can! This is STUNNING!!!
really lovely barb! <3
That flowerbif gorgeous!! Beautiful card!!
Wow!!!!! So much to love about this card! Particularly since I have similar supplies and would never be able to pull this off.
Barbara, for someone who claims not knowing Shabby Chic, you sure came up with a stunner here. Love all the elements, specially the beautiful cluster of flowers and that lovely pin. The image is gorgeous, that must have been a SU stamp that came out before I started making cards otherwise, I would have bought it.
