It’s a Red Alert at Shopping Our Stash

Looking for my Clear it Out Tuesday Post scroll down or click HERE.

Shopping Our Stash has a Red Alert out for challenge # 181 and this one will last two weeks. We need to have a break for Christmas.  For this challenge I made mini treat holders. I found the tutorial for it at Stamp and Scrap with Frenchie. They are simple to make although I didn’t have the tag die from Stampin’ up I used one of my other dies and a punch.

The image is “having a ball” from House Mouse Designs coloured with copics and punched out and layered on a scalloped punch out.  As I didn’t have the candy I can’t show the side view but an individually wrapped York peppermint patty fits in there perfect.
Thanks for stopping by today and remember the Red Alert challenge lasts for two weeks.

I LOVE well-decorated peppermint patties!

I have to tell you I had words with the Hershey Company several years ago over their packaging of York Peppermint Patties. they even replied: http://thecrookedstamper.blogspot.com/2010/10/open-letter-to-hershey-company.html
