V is for Vellum is the new Challenge at SoSS

And a challenge for sure for me, I had all sorts of ideas as there are so many things you can do with vellum but alas I was sort on time and ended with a very simple but nice card.

Base is Early Expresso the patterned paper is from a DCWV stack pack. I stamped the Friendship on the vellum with brown stazon added a heart brad and a glitter butterfly.

Now that little butterfly took so much time, the glitter paper is very heavy and I had to manually dig out all those little pieces,

Thanks for visiting today and you know you want to show off your projects using Vellum so hop over to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers check out the rules and the rest of the design team’s projects you will be astounded with their creativity and snark too.

Simple perhaps, beautiful definitely! This is gorgeous Barb! The design paper is so pretty, the added butterfly...and did you TEAR that vellum??? Look at you going all distressy again, I think secretly you LOVE it!!

This is a beauty, Barb! I love that patterned paper, and I'm glad you persevered with the butterfly, as it's perfect with it. And you tore the vellum — what a great idea! Don't listen to Donna, a torn element has nothing to do with distressing. :D
