Last week life got in the way of me getting my card done for week 1 but the image I chose just had to be finished for this week. I loved the image and sentiments that come with the image. My hubby’s birthday is in September and this will be perfect for him. (he didn’t get a preview of this one.)

Welcome back for another Sisterhood of Snarky stampers challenge! This week our Alphabet Soup theme is "L is for Layer."
The sisters would like you to make a one layer card (one layer on top of a card base is OK, but no more than one layer).
Here's what I came up with for the challenge:

Looking for my Clear it Out Tuesday post just scroll down.
6Fruit and Veggies that is. shopping Our Stash has planned for this challenge. The Theme is to put fruit or vegetables on your project.
Looked like this little guy has had too much of a good thing, the image is from House Mouse Designs and were colourer with prisma colour pencils and oms. I added the blue sparkle buttons because I thought they ‘looked like blueberries (my fav).
Close up of the little rodent.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to use this card for so didn’t put a sentiment on it yet. I wonder if it would make a good get well card?
Thanks for stopping by today and now you have seen my card I hope you will join us for this great challenge, Eat 5 a Day.
What do we think of in the middle of a heat wave? something cool is what I think of and christens is a favourite time for me. So to have Christmas in July is a treat. Clear it Out Tuesday is challenging your to make a Christmas card and the stash item is GLITTER. Don’t we all love glitter. Ultra fine glitter, chunky glitter or even stickles the choice is yours. The sponsor for this challenge is Stitchy Bear Outlet.
The image I used is called Snow Cuddles, it looks so soft and serene. I coloured the image with Copics and spectrum noir markers. I covered the image with double sided tape then added ultra fine glitter from Glitter Ritz. this technique is called Burnished Velvet.
I’m not sure if the picture shows how glittery this is but it sure does in real life..
I also used a layer of glitter cardstock to the front of the card, just for added glitter,
Thanks for stopping by today and it’s time for you to have fun with glitter and make us a Christmas in July project.

Shopping Our Stash is asking “What can’t you put down?”, What tool, technique, colour or sketch can’t you put away? Mine is my Ovals, I have all different oval dies and it’s my go to die to use for cards, now I also seem to be using a lot of pink too.
The image I used is from Bugaboo love those cupcakes.
I found these cute flower brads in my “brad/button box and thought they went so well with the patterned paper.
Finished inside which will be delivered tomorrow for a friend’s birthday, hope she likes it.
thanks for visiting today and and hope you find time to show us what you can’t put down.
I suppose you were thinking Rock Band but no it’s Keep It Simple Silly. which means Less is More for this challenge. Check out all the rules about the challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday while you are there have a peek at what the team has made.
One layer card is something I rarely do but this design I really like, the strip of patterned paper just adds a nice interest. The ornament is a stamp and die from Stampin’up,
The finished inside of the card.
The sponsor for this challenge is Di’s Digi Stamps.
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you will find time to join us for the K.I.S.S. challenge.

Happy Monday, I hope you had a great weekend!! We had a ovely Saturday but Sunday was rain and some sun. It didn’t matter to me I was in trying to make some cards before leaving for home for a few days. Using a background paper from Coosty Creations at Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet
I made a simple card so the beautiful orchid digi paper is the star. For being a CAS card it sure took me a while to make it, most of the time was trying to thread the needle to sew the buttons on.
I finished the inside to mirror the front
thanks for stopping by today and I hope you find some time to get crafty and join us at The Cheerful Stamp Pad for the challenge.

I hope everyone survived the Canada Day and 4th of July festivities, I had a great time at the cottage. It was very hot and humid but good for relaxing. This week at Shopping Our Stash we want you to break out the “wood” or use a wooden sailing ship on your project. Can’t go wrong with that challenge, have fun and a masculine card for your stash. The stamp I used is old, so old it’s retired and it was from Stampendous. I found the stamped image in my parts box so I didn’t even have to locate the stamp.
Amazing Paper Grace. I stamped the Hardwood background stamp with Versafine Sepia on Crumb Cake, layered it on Early Expresso.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will join us for this fun challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today and if you like our sketch I hope you will give it a try and add it to the Clear it Out bog link so we can ooh and aah over it.
