More Inchies and Twinchies.........

Hello again!!! I found a sketch at Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge and I knew I needed to make a card for the Jingle Belles challenge of inchies and twinchies. I knew that I wanted to use some House Mouse stamps that were perfect for the sketch. Here is my third card for the challenge.

I love plaid papers for Christmas cards and I paired it with a cranberry cardstock. I used three different house mouse stamps.

another angle of the super cute images. The sentiment is from a self-inking set I bought a couple of  years ago at Winners, there are 8 small sentiments in the box, the only drawback is they all stamp in black,

Finished the inside with a scrap of patterned paper and a holiday sentiment.

I am entering this in:

Jingle Belles Rock ~~ inchies/twinchies

Cardz 4 Guyz ~~ #189 a Sketch

Winter Wonderland  Stitching real or faux

So here we are a perfect sketch for a perfect challenge using great images. Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon.

Embossing around the Christmas Tree....that's the challenge at the Jingle Belles rock!!!

I am so excited!! This weekend I had some crafty time to get my card don't for the Jingle Belles  challenge early this time. I also coupled it with some other great challenges, although it defeats my purpose of getting extra Holiday cards done. ....but there is still next weekend too. I have oodles of embossing folders of all seasons and I do love to use them I suppose that is because I don't like blank space. lol.

The embossing folder is a cuttlebug one that I just purchased a few months ago and the houses I purchased a month or so before and neither have been used on a card...more NBUS. The sentiment is one of my older ones from Stampabilities (2006)

Close up of the detail in the embossing.

Carrying through with the "home" theme I used a sentiment from Impression Obsession

I'm going to link this up with:

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful week!!!

Wild Horses..............

Hello again, another Tuesday has rolled around, Barbara here with a new card for the Eyelet Outlet Blog.  Here in Canada we just celebrated Victoria Day, it was a windy, cool and wet weekend but nice to get away to the cottage for the first time this year.  It is nice a quiet and I love to do my crafting there. Father's Day will be here soon and this card would be perfect for a father's day.  Here is what I made with some brads from the Eyelet Outlet store.

I tried a new technique on the background, I used a makeup brush from the local $$ store and some Kalidescope die ink in earth tones and swiped the brush across the cardstock, I do think I need to find a smoother cardstock for this technique. The stamp I used is from Local King Rubber and the first time it's seen ink. I planned this card around the super cute horse brads from the Eyelet Outlet Store.
I added the three enamel stars (also from the Eyelet Outlet) before I put the sentiment in place, once those stars were pressed in place there is no moving them.

Close up to show the detail on the horses which are in three colours and 12 in a package.

There is still time to get your order in to the Eyelet Outlet Store to pick up some great brads, eyelets and washi tape for your Father's Day or just for making masculine cards.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a look at my Tuesday partner's post, it's just below mine on the Eyelet Outlet blog.

Cardz 4 Guyz ~~ favourite colour combo (pumpkin pie, brown)

Bye for now and I'll meet you here again next Tuesday at 3.01 p.m. EDT.

Challenge #274 at Shopping Our Stash is ~~~ Hey Ghoulfriend

What a great title for a challenge ~~ thank you, Chris!!! The crew at  Shopping Our Stash  would like to you make a Halloween card or project.

Halloween is not as huge a celebration as it is in the U.S. so I don't make a lot of Halloween cards, but if there are challenges to be done then send them off to who ever I think would like a surprise. I had a lot of fun making this card and "shhh it's for my great-grandson". I bought a Pop up Die I think about 1 1/2 years or longer and had never taken it out of the package, it looked like a lot of work but surprise, surprise it wasn't as hard as it looked.

I had printed this super cute image from Bugaboo Stamps quite a while ago and had it all layered on gold and black ready to go. I added some colour to the windows, lights and eyes then using some chalks I did the background in pink and yellow for an eerie sky.  I punched the fence and popped it up and added the black cat that I found in that "parts box" The background paper is from Bo Bunny also a couple of years old.

Tada!! the pop up part of the card, The sentiments are computer generated and the bats are from an EK bat punch I found at Dollarama and I attached them with thin strips of acetate. The paper is from a 12 X 12 pad I bought 2 maybe 3 years ago at Winners.

Close up of the pop up part of the card and of course the super cute bats.

I would like to enter this in:
Cardz for Guys ~~ challenge 142 Boo Halloween or a Thank you card.

The Male Room ~~ #46 Halloween.

Thanks for stopping by today and were you surprised it's not a Christmas card? Have a fabulous day!!
