All That Glitters…Challenge #112 @ Drunken Stampers
Thursday, December 27, 2012
It is still Christmas at Clear it Out…….
At the Stampin’up Hostess group this month we made some awesome cards, one of them I wanted to “case” but the only thing I had was the Very Vanilla cardstock, so putting my thinking cap on I used gold ink instead of crumb cake, I used a different set of snowflakes, but my big problem was the gold glitter cardstock and the lace. Last year I bought the white glitter cardstock from SU so I cut strips of it and punched the scallop border, then took a bic marker in beige and coloured the glitter cardstock, I know there is some ivory cotton lace somewhere in my stash but just couldn’t find it in a hurry so went and bought some that Fabricland was clearing out for 25 cents a yard.
This is the card that I made, the card I cased is below.
I like the way mine turned out and the recipient was very pleased with it too.
Thanks for looking today and check back again soon, I am hoping to have more time in 2013 to update my blog more often.
I am entering my card in the December Christmas challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday.

Drunken Stamper’s challenge #109….For the Boys
I am so late getting my blog posted, I have had the card done for a few weeks and when I decided to do my blog post I had no phone line and no internet until Saturday afternoon. I hope you think it is worth the wait.
I used a PSX stamp, it was one of my early purchases and the newest purchase, the window die.

Clear it Out & Saturated Canary for all of December!!!
For my card I used “Stockings” digi from our sponsor, Saturated Canary. I was in a whimsical mood when started making my card and decided on non-traditional colours, using pink and green and the paper I found in my stash was perfect. I coloured with prisma pencils and blended with odourless mineral spirits. Cut with my oval nesties and added pretty in pink ribbon with a small sentiment.

Brand New Challenge at the Drunken Stamper’s blog!!!
The challenge this week is to make a card with a secret, doesn’t that sound intriguing, you will find all the information about the challenge at the Drunken Stamper’s Challenge Blog.
I made a simple Birthday card although it took me long enough to finish it. The embossing folder is from Stampin’up and I added some rhinestones to the centre if the flowers. Added some polka dot ribbon and a peel and stick sentiment. I have not used them much except in class. The cardstock is pretty in pink from Stampin’up. Now for my secret you will have to scroll down to find out what it is.
A bookmark is hidden in the slot in the front of the card. I put a pink brad and a scrap of the same polka dot ribbon as a pull tab to remove the hidden sentiment.
Thanks for visiting today and don’t forget to stop by the Drunken Stamper’s challenge blog found HERE and join in the fun.

It’s Saturday time for the Drunken Stamper’s challenge
It is team Flirtini’s week for the challenge but I so wanted to join them and make a Christmas card, it is so much easier if you have a theme to use. The Drunken Stampers challenge found HERE is to use Buttons or Brads on your project. As soon as I saw the challenge I knew I wanted to use my “oldest” and favourite snowman. It is from Hero Arts and was one of my first stamps I bought. I knew that “buttons” would look fabulous on him.

Clear it Out Challenge Blog Mid-Challenge Inspiration
I decided to use one of the “stash” colours and that is my favourite one……PURPLE. I made my card while at the cottage and since it is getting close to packing it in for the winter I have very little crafting things there now but like all places there is lots of stash. Only the image is new, everything else is at least one year old. ‘
The image can be found in here in this section of Bugaboo, they have both digital images and rubber ones as well. Thanks for stopping by today and check out the challenge at Clear it Out.

Clear it Out is having a ‘your choice’ challenge….
I had a chance to use a Halloween image from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps, it is just adorable, Everything on my card with the exception of the image is from my stash. I used my prisma colour pencils to colour the image and blended it with odourless mineral spirits. The flower was from a prize package I got a year ago. The button from my button jar. I covered the ghost with stickles to make him sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by today and don’t forget to add your project to the Clear it Out blog and you might win digis from our sponsor for this challenge Bugaboo Stamps

Confessions of a Shop-a-holic
Time for another challenge at the Drunken Stamper’s challenge blog! This week is #99 and the challenge is to use shoes and/or purses on your project.
I found the cutest sparkle dsp at a dollar store and it was 50 cents a sheet, I knew it was perfect for the challenge, The image is from Stamping Bella, which is a Canadian company from Toronto Ontario. I coloured it with prismacolor pencils and oms. I cropped the image so more of the dsp can be seen.
Bonus………I made a second card, it is a purse card, I used a design that we had done at a class at Butterfly Moon It starts with a sheet of card stock 5 1/2 X 8 1/2, scored at 1 and 5, crease and fold then measure 1 inch at the top where the 1 inch fold is and cut from that mark to the bottom corner, cut through all layers. then add the lacy strip and handles going through all layers. The bottom tucks under the folded part to close. Add your sentiment to the inside. Sorry I didn’t take a picture of the open card.
Don’t forget to stop by the Drunken Stampers and join in the shopaho8c challenge this week. You have until Friday October 5th at 11.59 Pacific time to link your project. I am looking forward to seeing your fabulous shoes/purses projects.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your day is fabulous.

Now you have seen my card for the challenge I would love to see yours so hop on over to Clear it Out and join in the fun

Drunken Stampers #97, Hand Wash Cold.....
I must start off with how behind the times I am……I had to Google Washi Tape so I knew I didn’t have any. I went to my local scrapbooking store to purchase some, it is a small store and there were only a few to chose from but I loved the designs on the one I used. Along with my favourite little rodents (House Mouse) I love my Dolly Mamas, the one I used is called “burning the candle”.
I coloured with pencil crayons and blended with odourless mineral spirits, added the butcher’s twine I got in a prize pack, then tied some twine in the button., the cardstock is Cameo Coral and the dp is from an Asian stack pack
Thanks for looking today and head on over to the Drunken Stamper’s Challenge Blog, you have until Friday September 21st 11.59 p.m. Pacific time. See you there.

My stash paper is a DCWV Asian paper pack I bought a couple of years ago in the U.S. As you can see I am at the cottage and forgot to bring my sentiment stamps with me this weekend. I always seem to forget something.

Think Peach for Endometrial/ Uterine Cancer Month
As you can see the scenery is not as pretty as it is when I do my photos at the cottage but it’s nicer than the white cardstock background of taking the picture inside. Challenges are great for taking me out of my comfort zone and using peach and green was taking me there. This is a favourite design I use when i need a card in a hurry it’s fast and simple but looks fabulous in any colours you choose.

I used close to cocoa, night of navy cardstock, I cut with a “Nellie” die, the fancy tag is from spellbinder, As you can see from the picture I am at the cottage and my punches are at home so the sentiment will be added at a later date.

Clear it Out and Dude Time Doodles present a Challenge
It is Team “A” time with Dude Time Doodles for this weeks challenge at Clear it Out “One for the Boys”, your stash item is two or more patterned papers. Masculine cards are so much harder for me than the cute or frilly feminine ones. The image I choose is “rough night Rodney” he sure looks like he had one too.
The three patterned papers are from a hostess pack from Stampin’up that I received over 5 years ago and I’m still working on it. All the girly colours are gone though. The cardstock and paper are both Night of Navy, the image and layer were cut with the long rectangle spellbinders. Kick back and relax is from Stampabilities.
Thanks for stopping by today and don’t forget to head to the challenge at Clear it Out and show us your masculine themed project……remember to use your patterned paper “stash”.

Christmas in July with the Drunken Stampers.
Since it was Christmas in July with a summer twist I had the perfect image for the challenge, it is a digi stamp from Bugaboo, a surfing penguin. The image was coloured with prisma pencils and odourless mineral spirits, The dsp is from a paper pack, sentiment and holly leaves from Hero Arts and the cute Santa hat is from High Hopes, a Canadian company. I used white fun flock on the Santa hat, his sunglasses are covered with paper glaze.
Thanks for dropping in to see if I have been crafting, stop by the Drunken Stampers challenge blog there is still a couple of days to add your project.
