Challenge #175…Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’
Shopping Our Stash Challenge #175 is Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’, you can almost figure that one out in an instant, you need to use round things, make a round card, use lots of circles, use round embellishments there are lots of ideas. Here is what I came up with.
I have had this cute House Mouse stamp for at least a year and it has never seen ink (hanging my head) but when the challenge was posted I just had to ink it up coloured with alcohol markers and layered on pretty in pink cardstock then attached to a premade scalloped oval card base (I have had a package of them for a couple of years) I then added the pink shiny sticker embellishments.
Close up of the donut, the sprinkles have some stickles on them.
Here is the inside, I added the sentiment that goes with the image.
Thanks for stopping by today and go dig out all those “round” things and join us at Shopping Out Stash for the challenge.
The Theme Orange and The Stash item ORANGE things
I coloured with my alcohol markers and cut it out with the large circle die from spellbinders, I bought some coloured vellum envelopes and paper from a yard sale a couple of years ago,(II have been hoarding it) so I broke it out and cut it with the large scalloped die, i popped it up on the pumpkin embossed layer. I added my orange pumpkins on either end of the sentiment.
Finished inside of the card.

Challenge #98 Anything Goes….With Fall Colours!!!
I had a purchased tag on my table and used it for a base for the image, I shortened it and rounded the bottom corners. Added a reinforcement I found in the stationary drawer. The image was coloured with a combination of alcohol markers and I added some rhinestones. My brown marker was running out, but I like the look of the barrel.
Thanks for stopping by today and stop over at the blog and check out what the rest of the design team has made with their images.

More Fall Leaves….at The Cheerful Stamp Pad
This is the second week of Challenge #97 Fall Leaves at the Cheerful Stamp Pad there isn’t a sponsor but the prize is a Guest Design Team position for at least two weeks. It is a good way to try out being on a design team if you are wondering how it would be. Since there isn’t a sponsor I had to come up with my own Fall Leaves after a couple of ideas failed this is what I ended up with……
The stamp set I used is a cling mount from Stampin’up called Gently Falling, it is a two part set, I don’t seem very good at lining up the second step, then again I should use a stamp a ma jig. I embossed the one layer with the pumpkin cuttlebug folder, I used Tim Holtz distress markers on the stamps in several colours, stamped on white then the lined stamps I used versafine moss green. Wasn’t very happy with all the white showing and tried to add more colour, before I scrapped the leaves I tried water and an aquapen to muddle the colours, thought it worked not bad, I had the most beautiful bow to put on it but it was way too thick to mail so made a button with a sizzix button die and covered it with paper glaze (that is another story) put the green and white baker’s twine through all 4 holes and tied a nice bow.
Close up of the detail on the leaves, oh yes I fussy cut them out too. The inside is not finished yet, I think I might make it into a thank-you card.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you join us in the Fall Leaves challenge.

Challenge #173 at Shopping Our Stash is Hello Sweetie which means we want to see some “sweets” on your project, cookies, candy, ice-cream, cake, what every you think of as sweet. Check the main blog to get the rules and have a look at all the yummy projects the design team has for your inspiration. I have been so busy with Halloween, Fall and Thanksgiving cards I was so excited to be able to make something different so I made a Christmas card. I used a Lacy Sunshine image called Coco with hot chocolate and cookies.
Isn’t she a super sweet image, no that’s not the sweets part, I had some fancy buttons from doodle bug and they look like gumdrops and in the same package were some gingerbread men now isn’t that really sweet.
I even sewed the buttons with co-coordinating threads even the paper has candy and cookies on it. The patterned paper is from a paper pad from American Crafts called Merrymint, which is a couple of Christmases ago.
I’m glad you stopped by today and I hope you find some time to Shop your stash and join in the fun at Shopping Our Stash.
Thanksgiving and a bit of Twine…..

Fall is here….Challenge #172 at Shopping Our Stash is The Most Colourful Time of the Year.
Looking for my Clear it Out post scroll down or click HERE.
Whether we want it or not Fall is here and here in SWO the trees are changing colours although we have not had a frost yet. We have had a lot of rain in the past 4 days, the old Indian says When the ponds are full Winter will come.
At Shopping our Stash we want to see your fall colours so head on over there, check out the rules and see what the design team has made for your inspiration.
I haven’t used my House Mouse stamps in a little while and this one just wanted out of the box. I made an easel card, they are very easy to make and go together quite fast.
Challenge time at Clear it Out Tuesday!!!
Of course I had to pick a Stella and Gus image, they are the perfect pair. Now that sentiment is from a rub-on pack I have had for at least three years or maybe more. I have been using the black lettering but haven’t used on of the white ones.
Here are my “rings” I was in a spot I couldn’t find the fake wedding bands I am sure are somewhere as I used to decorate cakes but one of the design team “Lisa” made hers with spellbinders circle dies and I kinda borrowed the idea,…thanks for being so creative Lisa.
Stella and Gus from Bugaboo Stamps sentiments included.
Cardstock Baja Breeze and GP white
Scrap of shiny gold cardstock
Scrap of white ribbon
Coloured with Copics
Rub-on from SU

Witches, Ghosts and Goblins……Which Would you Choose?
Since I haven’t found my Halloween paper pad (if I really bought one) I went to the local LSS and bought this cute paper, I added the bit of ribbon and a couple of black cats which were cut with an IO die.
As you see I located my Happy Halloween stamp and found a sweet little ghost in my stash.
Close up of the black cat, it reminds me of my 17 year old black cat called Spook.
One day I will sit down at the computer and get some verses for my cards and then they will be ready to send.
I would like to add this to the following challenges:
Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper challenge October.
Hiding in My Craft Room Halloween Colours Challenge #168
Thanks for looking today and will join us for the Halloween Costume Challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad.

It’s Saturday!!! Challenge Time at the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers.
I struggled with this challenge I had an idea and then checked out all other ideas I could come up with and then back to the first one. It didn’t go well, I think when it took me four tries to get a “clean” image I would have stopped but I blundered on, I won’t bother you with all the horrific details just think of what could go wrong and it did. ……here it is.
the image I used is from Stampabilities and I have had it a long time, I decided to do a spotlight card. As you see I decided to go with an iconic place the Eiffel tower in Paris. Everything used was stash.
The patterned paper is from a travel paper pad, there is enough room to put a sentiment on the paper. The cardstock I used is Wild Wasabi and Very Vanilla, rhinestones are from my never-ending pile of them.
Thanks for visiting today and you have two weeks to get your Iconic project to the SOSS Blog. We want to see who, what or where your icon is.
