I am so excited I have a chance to join the Use it Tuesday challenge blog as a guest designer, the theme is “All about Love” and to use your hoarded stash. Now I love House Mouse stamps and what better to use for the theme than something that you love. The image is Snuggle Bunny featuring Muzzy and friend, it was coloured with prismas and oms, I added a few dots of stickles to the flowers. I don’t have any idea where I got the lace from, perhaps a rak from a friend, but I have been moving it around my craft table for weeks, finally a project to use it on, The other hoarded stash I used was the 5 year old designer paper and the pearls. You know how it goes when you are out shopping if you really like something you tend to duplicate it a lot. I really don’t need to buy any more pink pearls.
Thanks for stopping by today and please join the team at Use it Tuesday challenge blog and link your project and perhaps you will get a chance to be a Guest Designer too.

Clear it out Tuesday…..Use your Scraps!!
Welcome back to Clear it out Tuesday Challenge Blog, our second challenge of the year is to use your scraps, we all know how many scraps we have after making the Christmas and Holiday cards. For this challenge My Grafico gave our design team the cutest, chubby penguin to play with and I used scraps that were laying around the craft room. Some dp that was just the perfect size and the almost navy scrap and even the image was printed on the flip side of white cs that was previously stamped with an image that just didn’t work out. (that is why there are two sides to each piece) I hope you will come on over to the Clear it out Tuesday Challenge Blog and show us how you use your scraps.
Thanks for stopping by today to see what winter cards I’m still making, it could be a head start for Christmas 2012. Check out the fabulous digi images you will find at My Grafico, they are easier to store and very reasonably priced too.

The Second Tag of Christmas ATC size and More.
I am in a group and we send 3 different ATCs to one name on our list every month. Here are two that I have made for the January swap. The first one is taken from Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas 2011, it is the second one in the series. It certainly isn’t as elaborate as Tim’s but I am so pleased with the way it came out. I stamped a music background with black on Very Vanilla cs then sponged blue and pink distress inks on it. Stamped the Happy Holidays, I cut the reindeer with a Creatable from Marianne Designs, added a “pipe cleaner” wreath and a star brad. I didn’t have any “burlap” so left it off but used some twine and a brad that I cut the prongs off. The rhinestones I coloured with a bic marker.
The second one I used a Santa image called Santa Collage from Rubber Stampede, I think I picked it up one year after Christmas when I went across the border to the U.S. I stamped it on very vanilla with versafine sepia ink then distressed it with linen, I coloured his face and eyes with prismas and oms, then added the glaze on his glasses. I mounted the image on chocolate chip and close to cocoa card stock.
My third ATC I made is from the December ones that I did. I did a full size card in a class at Butterfly Moon and thought how the image was just the right size to make into an ATC. The images are from Hero Arts. The background stamp is a large wood mounted stamp called House and Home and I stamped it on Kraft with Brilliance Moonlight white, The Car with Tree was stamped on white and coloured with prismas & oms then cut out so it looks like it is on a snowy hill. I stamped and coloured a second tree and mounted it with dimentionals.
Are you bored yet? One last ATC, oh btw that stands for Artist Trading Card, these are 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches in size. This one was a Fall themed ATC , the Happy Scarecrow from Class Act Inc. which is a Canadian company, right here in Ontario. I coloured with Prismas & oms (my favourite medium) I punched the maple leaves out with a fiskers punch and put paper glaze on them to make them look more like brads.

It’s all about Winter!!!
At least that is what it says over at Use it Tuesday, the challenge is to use your stash and create a project that is all about winter. Now my image was has been hanging around for over a year, I know there is one that is coloured as well but that one hasn’t surfaced yet. With the exception of the base of the card everything I used was from my scrap pile. I used white flowersoft on the snow and the toque. The tub/sled was coloured with a clear spica glitter pen. Here is what I think winter is all about and today we are getting the snow to have fun in.
Thanks for stopping by today and there is still over 6 days to get in on the winter challenge at Use it Tuesday and use up some of your hoarded stash.
Kind words are the music of the world.

Yea for the Blue and White
The challenge at Use it Tuesday is to make a project using your stash with the colours of your favourite team. Have a peek at their blog it’s a fabulous site and you don’t have to go out an buy anything new, just use your stash.
I live in South Western Ontario and have always cheered for the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team (there are not a lot of us left) and for the Toronto Blue Jays (baseball). There is not a thing on my gift tag that is newer than two years in fact the gold cord was still in the package, (I have red as well) and has to be at least 6 years old, the place I bought it doesn’t exist anymore. This was a very quick project, I used scraps from making my Christmas cards and largest plain nestability circle but the white base (you can’t see) cut half circles of the two dp attached the ribbon and stamped the phrase with Brilliance Mediterranean blue.
Thanks for stopping by today and take some well deserved time for yourself.

Time to make those Thank-You cards
First of all I would like to wish everyone that stops by a Happy New Year and may 2012 be the best ever.
With the start of the new year comes the new challenges, today January 3rd is the start of a challenge at Clear it Out Tuesday to make a Thank-you card. You have two weeks to design and post your card. I have made one of my favourite folds…..an easel card. I find them really easy to do and they look awesome. The stamp I used is from Layers of color, it is a cling stamp and it is made for the Spellbinder label 16 set of dies but it works just as well with the Label one as well. I coloured with pencil crayons and oms, stamped the thank-you from the cute & curly retired set from Stampin;up and punched it with the punch that goes with the set. The colours I used were Early Expresso and Pink Pirouette. the dp is from a DCW stack pack and the ribbon from Offray. I added the tiny butterfly and the pearls to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by today and hope you will join us at Clear it out Tuesday. The next challenge will be January 15th so don’t forget to post your project for the challenge.
