Easter jellybeans from Mudpie…….

Happy Easter to everyone, I hope your weekend was fabulous. Here in Ontario we had a bit of a warm spell and a lot of our snow is gone, most places around us have no snow. I noticed there were quite a few fields ploughed ready for planting…..that is a good sign.
I made this Pyramid fold card for my great-grandson, he is 4 years old and was delighted with the mousie image and intrigued with the fold. I don’t have a tutorial for it and I am not sure where I found it. It looks difficult but it went together really easy.

Drunken Stamper's Challenge #121…Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Happy Easter to everyone stopping by here today, I think the weather is finally getting better. The sun has been shining and hubby saw a robin today.

As you know the Drunken Stampers challenge blog is using movies as the themes for the challenges and this week the movie is Mr. & Mrs. Smith or you could use a spy theme. I have never seen the movie so I was at a loss for any idea. Mid-Challenge Inspiration at Clear it Out Tuesday!!!

I am really behind this week, I was so busy yesterday I forgot it was Monday and I was to update my blog with the cards I made for the Easter with a twist challenge at Clear it Out, you will find all the information HERE
I have two cards for you today, I sort of got on a roll with the cute images I got from Limited Runs and Digi Darla, check out all they have to offer in images. The first up is Limited Runs, I just loved this cute bunny.

The twist is to make a non rectangle card, mine is an easel card. The supplies I used are Pretty in pink and GP white cardstock, offray ribbon Spellbinders used Fancy Labels and rectangle plain and scalloped.

Second card  the image is from Digi Darla….another cute bunny

This card is a “gatefold with a twist"  I love gatefold cards as you can decorate the inside so nicely. The image is attached to the left side and the sentiment to the right “gate”

This shows the fold just a bit better. Supplies for this card are Regal Rose and GP white, SU label & word window punches, Spellbinder rectangle plain and scalloped. DSP regal rose from a hostess pack from SU.

I joined a birthday swap, it’s so much fun because when it is your birthday you get lots of handmade cards. The recipient of this card has received it so I can blog it now. When I made it my idea came from the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge Blog the challenge was to have ribbons and pearls on your card. I love my house mouse/happy hoppers/gruffie stamps and use them as often as I can. Every two weeks there is a new challenge at HM&Fand a new one will start on Monday….check them out.

I think I have been working on this card for well over a week, crafting can be so difficult to do when you are not feeling 100%, whatever bug I have I hope it leaves soon.

Wow it’s March already, spring must be right around the corner although when I look out the window I see piles of snow. March 17 is St. Patrick\s day so we are celebrating a little early. The Sound of Music at Drunken Stampers

Another Saturday another Challenge at the Drunken Stampers, this week the Midnight Margaritas are inviting you to play along with the Sound of Music. The details of the challenge you will find HERE

The idea for the challenge was not coming together very fast for me, my set of music stamps is MIA but going through my images I found something that would work and once it was finished I am quite pleased with it.

The image is from Stamping Bella, an online store in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, almost local for me. The background was stamped with versamark watermark and embossed in black. Music ribbon was a left over from an ATC swap I did last year
