The glitter washi tape was also on my desk as was the Happy Holidays which I heat embossed in Egyptian Gold embossing powder. I also used last weeks sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, of course I'm too late to enter.
On the inside I used a tree that was on my desk and the holiday sentiment that never made it back to it's home, I stamped it on the base and added the die cut (that didn't work for another project) as a frame.
Challenges I am entering:
Just us Girls #369 Trend Week ~~ Metallics
Jingle Belles Rock Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas in Hawaiian) Use Flowers
Thanks for stopping by today and let's see what you can use that is on your desk.
You had that flower already die cut and never used it?! This is gorgeous, Barb! Way to use a bunch of things out on your desk!
ReplyDelete(Oh, and thanks for linking up at Just Us Girls too!)
Gorgeous white Poinsettia Barbara, how fabulous it was already die cut and just waiting patiently for you to create something beautiful with it.
ReplyDeleteAwesome way to use all of this things from your desk for this challenge.
And yes, yes.....I bet we all have that little container full of odds and ends, unfinished cards, etc. That is how we crafty people are, we rarely throw stuff away, we hoard it until the right time comes along.
Fabulous card!!!
Hugs,
Maria.
That Poinsettia is simply gorgeous! Love your glittery ribbon - it just focuses the eye on that gorgeous flower!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous poinsettia and I love the sparkly washi tape!
ReplyDeleteThere's something about a white poinsettia... lovely card. (I missed the FMS cut-off too... always do! They cut it a day too short!)
ReplyDeleteooooh! now see, sometimes the "lucky dip" aspect of using leftovers results in a kind of funky card, but this thing is just soooooooooooo right! (totally paid off not to have cleaned up, missus!) thanks for celebrating holiday flowers with us at JINGLE BELLES! <3 <3 <3
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Barb! You sound like me, I could make several things for this challenge and still have hours of cleanup left! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty much my studio table too ... love what you pulled together ... so glad you helped us celebrate flowers for the holidays at jingle belles.
ReplyDeleteYour leftovers made a wonderful holiday card, Barbara. Thanks for sharing it at Just Us Girls this week.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card!!
ReplyDeleteI love the poinsettia
