Peace on Earth (Day)

I am really trying hard to do  the Jingle Belles prompts but so far I can't seem to get things going until the last days of the challenge, at least I am earlier than last prompt. As you see the challenge is Earth Day which means recycle something to use, well I spotted a gift card from 2024 in my old card stash and knew it was perfect to upcycle and at the same time I saw a new way to do the Eclipse technique which is perfect for the image.

The gift card was 4 inches square, perfect size for a 5 1/2 inch square card, since there are many ways to do this new way of Eclipse I played around deciding circles, squares then I saw the hexagon dies on the desk I think I have been trying to incorporate them into a card for a while. I think this was the first time using the scalloped square dies from Elizabeth Craft designs and the embossing folder is Softly Falling from Stampin'up (my favourite winter EF)

I thought the sentiment was perfect for the gnomes.

I am entering this in:
Jingle Belles Challenge ~~ Peace on Earth (Day)

Thanks for stopping by today the Jingle Belles challenge closes at 6 p.m. Wednesday, the SoSS challenge ends May 31 at 11.59

  1. Ok I *think* I'm going to have to google the eclipse technique bc you've made such gorgeous use of it! That gc holder was a GREAT save, as well, it's always good to go GNOME for the holidays, eh?! (Ok sorry, but you know i can never resist a diabolical pun lol!) So pleased you could join our recycling fun for Peace on Earth Day at Jingle Belles! ♥♥♥
