Christmas in July?

It's time for a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash and it's Christmas in July!! Now that should make you feel cooler. We are in the midst of a heatwave in SWO, I'm spending time at the cottage with no AC,  I'm glad it's time to head home and into AC as this week is going to be a scorcher. Here os my project for the challenge.

Whenever I get the chance I like to use my house mouse designs stamps, I'm sure I've had this one for quite a while and it's never been inked until now. The sentiment is from High Hopes Stamps (an Ontario company) I have had this stamp for many years.

Close up, I fussy cut the santa hat and popped it up

Finished the inside with a couple of scraps of paper and a entiment from Impresssion Obsession.

Since I used stripes and a cat I'm entering this in:

Jingle Belles Rock ~~ Stars and/or Stripes forever.

Show us Your Pussy Cats ~~ Anything Goes

Christmas Kickstart ~~ A Hatty Christmas

Now you have seen my project for the challenge, head over to the MAIN BLOG and see what the rest of the design team have made.

  1. Hello, Barb! Your card is very, very cute! The white kitty reminds me of our Snowie! It is tough with no A/C, especially with the humidity. We finally got one last year as we couldn't take it any more. Here we are having a cool wave and I love it! Feels almost like fall. More seasonal temps will be back later this week though.
