Butterfly Birthday in Blue

Christmas this year for me was not fun and I got behind on my gifts but I wanted to make a gift of some Birthday cards for a friend, we have been friends for a long time and of course I know her family quite well so made cards with them in mind. The first I'm going to post is using die cuts and of course that was thinking ahead to the Happy Little Stampers "anything goes with dies" challenge.


I love the set of edge dies, I used three for this one, and the off cut from the patterned front fit perfect on the inside.  I added rhinestones to the butterflies and flowers, A Happy Birthday finishes the front.


I tried to cut the white cardstock to match the curve but it just didn't work out. The sentiment stamp is from Printworks. The patterned paper is from Dollarama.

    Honestly, you really do find the best stuff at Dollarama! This is a gorgeous card! I love the blue and the white butterflies - as close to white space as we're getting, I guess! :D I was hoping you might show up at Seize the Birthday for the anything goes option!
