Here Comes Suzy Snowflake!!!

At Shopping Our Stash this fortnight Chris is the hostess and is anticipating a lot of snowflake cards. We here in Southern Ontario haven't seen any snowflakes, a lot of really heavy frost on the roof-tops.  Around Lake Erie it's been very wild with wind and rain and the lake was furious, our cottage was high and dry even though we are only a couple hundred feet from the lake, we are very happy there is a block break-wall. Thats where I take the photos of my cards all summer. Anyway back to the challenge just add a snowflake or lots of snowflakes to you project, let us know what stash you use too.

It's a miracle that I got a card finished at all, I decided on Saturday to take a road trip to have Eggs Benny at a fav. place (only serve the first weekend of the month) then to the Good Bread Company to pick up a loaf of Squash/Raisin bread. A check of the cottage and a visit with neighbours and ending with a nice long visit with a fabulous lady. As you see I was gone most of Saturday well trying to craft on Sunday was a major chore with a 2 year old cat insisting she have never-ending attention. First I made my background then coloured the stamped image with Spica Glitter pens and fussy cut it out. The stamp I used is an long retired set from Stampin'up I embossed the background with one of the first folders I bought from Cuttlebug, snowflakes. Let it Snow is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Close up of the image and as you see I added a few rhinestones to centers of some of the snowflake die cut (which I can't remember who it is from)

Inside was completed with a snowflake border and a stampendous sentiment.

I'm entering this in:
Happy Little Stampers ~~ Watercolour Anything goes (optional animals)
