My card is 4 X 9 1/4 it fits in a business envelope and it's extremely difficult to take a picture of it especially with the pewter ornaments. I cut the three ornaments out of the "chip board" gave each a layer of white gesso (and myself too) I embossed the ornaments in pewter (stampin'up) and attached them with pop dots and silver cord also from stampin'up, both being at least 5 years old. The white layer was dry embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder.
Happy Holidays is from Neat and Tangled (chosen as a prize) and cut out of some silver scraps.
Finished inside of the card with a Stampendous sentiment embossed in pewter.
I am entering this in:
Jingle Belles Rock ~~ We Three Kings
Happy Little Stampers ~~ Anything goes with dies.
Another Christmas/Holiday card finished for my stash, I'm falling behind with my monthly quota I've made for myself, summer is coming and lots of time at the cottage for crafting, until then I need to make one a week.
Thanks for stopping by today and head over to the main blog and see what chipboard creations the rest of the design team came up with.
Wow Barbara, those ornaments are stunning! WTG recycling some packaging to make them from! Fabulous Christmas card!

ReplyDeleteI love it! Blue and silver is a combination that always works for me. I love all of your design choices, Barb. Gorgeous recycling project!
ReplyDeleteHugz!
Your ornaments are beautiful, Barb! Great idea for the chipboard challenge! I have a lot of chipboard saved, some thin and some thick. Eventually I want to make a mini album, so I'm saving the thick stuff for the covers.
