Rockin' Robin

When I was a teenager my bestie and I use to dance to Rockin' Robin at the pavilion at the park, I guess I'm dating myself but those were the fun days, listening to the radio and playing tunes on the jukebox.  Well before I get reminiscing too much it's back to my card. The Jingle Belles prompt (started Friday) is Rockin' Robin so what you have to do is #putabirdonit or for those at are hashtag challenged Put a Bird on It.  Here is my interpretation  of the challenge.

I put two birds on it!!!  The image is a digital image (not sure of the store) colouring with alcohol markers, the birds are from Impression Obsession and cut out of red shiny posterboard. I layered it on real red and gold, the gold I took white cardstock edged it in versamark watermark and embossed the edge in gold. I really think the gold powder is getting too old it was a pain to heat set. I then added it to real red that is dry embossed with Birds & vines cuttlebug folder, it was added to a 4X6 kraft base.

Close up of the cardinals

Finished the inside with a EK punched edge a stampendous sentiment and a couple of Cardinals.

I'm entering this in:
Jingle Belles Rock ~~ Rockin' Robin

Thanks for stopping by today and there is lots of time to join the Jingle Belles for the challenge and get your holiday cards started.
