W is for Winter at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!!!

W is for Winter at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, Edna want to see some Winter cards I'm sure that's easy, I send a lot of Winter cards as I am usually late mailing so they can't say Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings so they need to be snow/winter cards.

Look at Edna all bundled up in the middle of a snowstorm, Lee has done a fabulous job of our graphics, and I hope you will add them to your blog post when you enter.

I have not made many Snowman cards this season, I suppose this is going to be what I'm making for the next little while. I did a galaxy background, I left the black soot off as I really liked the look I had already. Toto our kitten saw me picking through the box with the oxide inks and decided she was helping me, (not really much help) I made a white frame with the wonky stitched die. Although you can't see it I flicked touch of stella ink on it.  The super cute snowman is from the Lindsay Ostrom collection at Impression Obsession.  I think he is the cutest little guy.

Close up of the little guy,

Finished inside using a Stampendous cling sentiment and the same die as I used on the front.

I am entering this in:

Thanks for joining me here today and head over to the MAIN BLOG  to see the rest of the Winter cards from my teamies.

  5. That galaxy background is gorgeous, Barb! I need to play with my oxides more. Love the snowman and inside sentiment. Hubby's dad was a pastor and when he was little, the congregation used to give his sisters and him gifts they'd have to open in front of the folks and hold them up for all to see. Socks and underwear were de rigueur. Scarred him for life. Oh, and BTW, you can send me stuff that says Merry Christmas 'til at least Easter, 'cause that's the time I finally manage to get my decorations down. xxD
