The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie I bought it a couple of years ago at Scrapfest Kitchener. All the washi tape is at least 1 year old. I added some transparent glitter stickers from Starform. (I'm also sequin challenged too)
Close up of the tape and glitter dots.
Finished the inside with a practice piece, it pays to read instructions instead of just following a picture.
Now you have seen what I have done (with help) head over to the Main Blog and check out the awesome designs my teamies have made.
Barbara, this card is all kinds of amazing! LOVE the wonky stitched die cuts that let the washi peek through! Fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteomg! yes! i loooooove that card of stephanies as well! you did brilliantly here! ♥
ReplyDeleteFabulous design Barbara, love how you created this beautiful "window" to show off your washi tapes, just lovely.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, my dear, I don't own any washi tape at the moment, I really had to dig deep into some abandoned boxes to find the one with the birthday theme, the other one was from a Power Poppy stamp set that I bought some time ago, Marcella Hawley always wraps pretty washi tape to the sets and includes a hand written note, this time, this washi tape saved the day.
Hmm..I think I need to go and get me some soon.
XO
Wow, Barb, this looks amazing! I am one who loves to use washi tape and this design looks fabulous! Another card of yours to add to my CASE list! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh this is awesome Barb!!!
ReplyDeleteLove love love it!
Do what I do, I can never get washi straight, so I put it all on an angle lol
You totally rocked it. I just line the edge of the first piece of washi up against the second piece and keep building. I love how Santa is peeking out.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a striking card! I just love how the stitched wavy lines accent the washi tape. I just pinned it to my Washi Tape Board. Love the colors and pearls too. So pretty!
