Very simple and easy card today, The daisy border I've had for a while now along with a butterfly border one as well neither have been used. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and is one of the first birthday sentiment I bought when I first started stamping over 15 years ago. the rhinestones also from my stash, they were clear but I coloured them with an alcohol marker.
Close up of the flower border.
Since the sentiment is on the front I just put a birthday greeting o the inside.
Thanks for visiting today and if you haven't checked out the main blog head over and see the awesome projects the rest of the design team have made and whether they used red? white? and/or blue? perhaps all three?
Very pretty card, Barb! Nice colours of red and white! I was just saying to someone the other day that the U.S. crafters make a lot of cards for July 4 but I don't think crafters in Canada make cards for Canada Day. I don't, do you?
ReplyDeletethis is such a pretty card and i love that you went with "canada colors" without any particularly patriotic theme... the red and white are just so elegant. that is a cool sentiment, i like that it's "tall" rather than wide, if you know what i mean! ♥
ReplyDeleteThus is beautiful! I love how dimensional that floral border is... and way to go coloring the rhinestones... You clever girl! Happy Canada Day🍁
ReplyDeleteBarbara, this is a gorgeous border die, love it!!! The sentiment fits your design perfectly. And how clever to color the Rhine Stones to match your design, I never thought of doing that with my Alcohol Sharpies.
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day!!
XO
Barbara, this is so elegant and so beautifully crafted Your work is always so inspirational!
ReplyDeleteHugz!

ReplyDeleteAnd that daisy border die...WOW...that is seriously awesome!!!
Happy Canada Day sistah!
