Jingle Belles Rock ~~ Pink Christmas ~~ Take "5"

Are you tired of Pink Christmas cards yet? I'm not as I have the fifth card made for the Jingle Belles challenge, last week I made some pink shaving cream backgrounds, I used one in yesterday's ornament and today I used the second piece and I used it all!!! This card has been in my mind since the challenge was announced and I am so pleased with how it turned out.

To start with the background was emboss with a music background for another challenge and didn't work out but it was resurrected from the scrap box for this challenge. The trees and deer are from Impression Obssession and the rhinestones are from the Eyelet Outlet (been using one package for months) Spellbinders classic large oval and Floral oval was used for the frame. The stag is elevated for dimension.

The close up gives a better look at the shaving cream background and the elevation of the stag.

Finished the inside with the negative from the oval and a simple Merry Christmas sentiment that was cut earlier in the week and didn't fit my card, so nice to have "stuff" that is ready to use.

I'm entering this in
Jingle Belles Rock ~~ Pink Christmas for the Cure

Thanks for spending time here today and check back tomorrow for the New Shopping Our Stash challenge.

  4. Of all the cards you've created for a pink Christmas at Jingle Belles, this one is definitely my favourite. Great job on repurposing the embossed background as well!
