So in reality we want to see projects pertaining to Birth, Wedding or Sympathy. I have made a wedding card, anniversary card, two baby cards in the last few weeks and I had a friend lose their fluffy doggie friend and I decided to make a Sympathy card.
It's never an easy task of making a pet sympathy card, or any sympathy card and I just can't make them ahead for me they really need to be personal. I was very happy when the front of the card came together so easy, that is where the fun ended.
As you see I wanted the pawprint on the inside with the heart opening on the front, it all worked well until I printed the sentiment I found on the computer, It took 3 tries to get the sentiment positioned in the right place, I now have two extra sentiments in my "box" for use later.
I used a lot of stash from my scrap box along with the stampset that has been neglected, the border punch and the spellbinders hearts that haven't been used in a couple of years.
Thanks for stopping by today and remember to check out the rules at the Main Blog while there see what events the rest of the design team have highlighted.
What a fun theme ... and great card.
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect furry sympathy card. I agree, it's always preferable to make sympathy cards that reflect the recipient (and the person or pet).
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely perfect for a fur baby sympathy card. Love the heart cut out with the
ReplyDeletepaw print peeking through from the inside. Great job!
