Celebrating Peace on Earth (day) with the Jingle Belles

Finally I had some time to make a card for the current Jingle Belles Rock challenge Peace on Earth (day) which is April 22, 2017. The idea is to upcycle, recycle, repurpose or reuse at least one element on your card. I have an collection (stash) of previously used cards of all occasions and in this stack I found a small notecard and loved the images and the colours, I am partial to using non-traditional colours on my holiday cards. So here is what I made......

Now you know I love pink Christmas cards. Isn't the image adorable? and it has some sparkle too. Other than the base all other cardstock used was scraps or a miss-cut and was repurposed. I added three tiny pink enamel dots from the Eyelet Outlet and the Merry Christmas die cut from Impression Obsession.

Close up of the image from the note-card.

Finished inside

I would like to enter this in:
Jingle Belles Rock Peace on Earth (Day)

Thanks for visiting today, this is only my second card for the Jingle Belles challenge and only my third Holiday card for 2017. I really need to step up my game or I will be in a panic in November.

  3. This is perfect, Barb! Has the recycled component, but still looks handmade. (Which I think is a very good thing.) :)
